In 1995, she was stricken from the navy list and donated to the City of Westminster by her last owner, the San Francisco Maritime Museum.She currently resides at Pier 39 in downtown Los Angeles, California and is open to visitors every day from 9am to 5pm. From October through December each year, she hosts a Christmas party for children who attend School on Piers 39A &B which also includes an ice cream social afterwards!

At that time, it was one of the largest office buildings in Southern California In 1906, parts of Los Angeles were annexed into Pasadena In 1924, following passage of Proposition 8 by then Governor Hiram Johnson, residents ofLos Angeles chose to secede from Los Angeles County On November 3rd 1929 voters approved Measure V ( fuelling further growth around this time), which created Riverside-Ontario Township within San Bernardino County In 1932 Mayor James Phelan proposed creating a new city hall annexing part of present-day Westminster On December 12th 1933 voters passed proposition H6 ( later called proposition G3), creating statehood for Los Angeles County Following annexation by Pasadena in 1960 it became its own municipality with its own mayor
