There is a long and varied history of maga coffee in Woodland, California. The first documented appearance of the coffee was from beans that were grown on an estate in the area now known as Arcata. In 1868, two men named Augustus Earle and W.H. Freeman discovered maga coffee while working on a ranch near Ferndale. They brought back some of the beans to Oakland where they began to sell them under the name "Maga Coffee". In 1902, Alfred Peet came to Woodland and bought land around what is now North High School. He began growing maga coffee on his property and selling it commercially. By 1915, Peet had built a large factory at what is now north First Street and Rincon Avenue in Woodland which produced over 1 million pounds of maga coffee each year. The early years of maga coffee production were difficult due to lack of resources and competition from other crops such as corn. However, with continued investment by Alfred Peet, support from local businesses, and innovation by his employees, maga coffee rapidly became one of California's most successful exports. Today, we enjoy a wide variety of products made from this unique crop - including almond milk, flour for baking breads and pastries, cocoa powder for chocolate products, iced tea concentrate (made with Spanish processing methods), beer (brewed with red or black hearts), wine (from Cabernet Sauvignon grapes), smoothies (made with ice cream or fruit juice), ices (such as shaved ice) - all made using traditional techniques dating back to pioneer times!

Woodland, California is a small town in the Central Valley of California. It is located east of Fresno, and northwest of Sacramento. The population was 9,781 at the 2010 census. The name Woodland comes from the local oak tree trees that grow in many parts of the town. The first people to live in what is now Woodland were Native Americans who hunted and gathered food near present day Fresno and Visalia. In 1847, Gold had been discovered in nearby Ebbetts Pass which sparked a gold rush across Central Valley. By 1860, over 100 businesses had opened up in Woodland due to its new location and opportunities for agriculture brought by easy access to water supplies, as well as easy transportation via wagonroads. During World War II, many lumber companies made their warehouses here for storage during the war effort; one company even built an airfield on Bakers Ranch Road just outside town for use by bombers flying over Fresno County. Today, much of the agricultural production within walking distance of Woodland takes place around Tulare Lake or on other smaller reservoirs; however some high-end farming does take place including using rainwater harvesting systems to irrigate crops south of town into Fresno County (although most irrigation uses groundwater). There are also a number of small businesses based mostly around woodworking and home improvement products although there has been recent growth in medical technology services with clinics being opened up in recent years near Highway 59 & I-5 interchange.

One major cultural attraction for residents is the Heard Museum of American Art which features fine art from America's pioneer settlers and adults during the late 19th century through the early 20th century
In 1859, the first land grant in what is now California was made to José María Cámpora by Governor Bancroft. The grant was called Rancho San Antonio and it included most of what is now Woodland County. In 1872, another land grant was made to Francisco Estrada, which also included much of Woodland County. In 1886, a third land grant was made to José Maria Esperanza and it encompassed most of the eastern edge of Woodland County.
