In 1858–59 a group of Franciscans led by Father José María Guerrero began construction of Mission Concepción del Cobre which became operational on July 15, 1860. In 1863 Juan Bautista Aguirre opened up land for cattle farming near present-day Yucaipa with his Rancho Guadalupe y Acosta grant from ad interim Governor Manuel Micheltorena Jr.. rancher Antonio Zamora developed what is now known as Zamora Canyon between 1909 and 1912; it formed part of today’s townsite of that name according to an 1880 map showing an area comprising 9 square miles (.27 square kilometers). On November 3, 1886 President James Kadin delivered a speech recommending that Mexico annex California because “the proprietorship here extends over more than three hundred thousand acres [of land] without interruption or interruption for more than one hundred years past”; this recommendation generated much public reaction throughout California including petitions demanding Mexican annexation signatures from various parts of the state including Los Angeles County where many farmers objected to being taken advantage of economically by northern investors interests . On December 5th Gov Jack Wells signed Order No . 227 creating Californias Unidad Nacional at 884 Square Miles size said to have been “the largest territorial subdivision ever created in our Republic” giving settlers wide access across Mexican soil while reserving certain areas specifically controlled by Mexico City – lands now within modern day Bakersfield – for development into sheep ranching districts called Cañada Prieta National Forest Reserve established under former US President Ronald Reagan on April 22nd 1986 following passage House Resolution 789 requesting United States Congress approval over issue related thereto . By virtue thereof all federal agencies conducting business within its boundaries are transferred from respective Departments/ Agencies subject thereto unto this new agency thereby consolidating all functions currently conducted through several separate agencies providing unified support thereby reviving economic vitality within our community while concurrently reducing dependence upon outside agribusinesses which have caused serious job losses throughout Northern California .. At present there are more than 1,000 citizens registered with both schools & churches combined !!
