TheArvada Army National Guard, or "AARNG", is an inactive United States military unit. The unit was disbanded on 1 December 2009 by order of the Secretary of Defense, Donald Rumsfeld. It was redesignated as the Colorado Army National Guard on 15 October 2010. The AARNG traces its origins back to 1861 when a detachment of Colorado volunteers raised and served in the Union Army during the American Civil War. In 1868, a separate battalion, also called the Colorado Volunteers, was organized in Fort Collins. On 17 March 1889, while both units were still part of the same brigade under Major General John J. Pershing's command at Camp Robinson near Greeley, Coloradans from two other militia brigades joined forces with Pershing's brigade to form a new regiment designated as the 9th Regiment Colorado Volunteers (9CVR). The regiment never saw combat but it played an important role in defending Denver from Confederate attack in that year's Battle of Glendale and later fought at Buena Vista Creek and Cedar Rock. In 1903–1904, Colored Troops serving with Ninth RegimentColoradoVolunteers participated in white-only Bull Run Campaign as part of White effort to break Confederate line at Antietam Creek; however Colored Troops were not allowed into battle due to lack of armor and equipment What followed were several skirmishes within county limits before general orders arrived disbanding all black units effective 6 November 1904 without any notice to soldiers or families After this event many African Americans decided they would rather stay home than integrate into white society which caused tension between races until suspension of habeas corpus laws allowed African Americans full rights after World War II

The Arvada National Guard was organized in 1907 as the Colorado National Guard. The current unit is made up of three battalions, and is headquartered in Golden, Colorado. The unit has served in various parts of the United States during both World War I and World War II.
Arvada, Colorado is a city in the U.S. state of Colorado and the county seat of Pueblo County. The population was 585 at the 2010 census, making it the most populous city in Pueblo County. It is located about 20 miles (32 km) north-northwest of Denver and about 25 miles (40 km) east of Durango. The town began as an agricultural village on Cache Creek near today's Arvada Municipal Airport, founded by pioneer settlers Harry Hargrave and his family in 1876. A post office was established in 1877, and growth continued until 1907 when annexation by Denver made Arvada a full municipality. In 1916, Arvada built its first schoolhouse; it replaced an earlier school used since 1872 by nearby Glendale School District #2. The first municipal election held in 1907 resulted in the creation of a mayoralty with three members: Harry Hargrave, John Gorman and Wm Sisson; all were reelected to serve two terms each. In 1924, Arvada became one of twenty townships withinDenver County throughthe consolidation of several smaller communities including Aspen Park, Golden Oak Heights, Glenwood Springs and Northglenn; this led to increased development around downtown with annexed properties becoming known as "Arvindale". Growth has slowed significantly since then but continues into the 21st century with new apartment buildings being erected along South First Street downtown Arvindale also contains some very old buildings from that time such as the Globe Theatre which still stands today across from City Hall on First Street

Modern era began with the development of modern weapons which made it possible for armies to waging war on a much larger scale than ever before- making it necessary for manufacturers to create different types of military equipment such as tanks, jet fighters and more.Army Gifts during Prehistoric Era: There is not much known about prehistorical army gifts since they are often associated with mythology or folklore rather than historical records. However, it seems that some sort of token was given as a gesture of appreciation towards someone who had rendered great service to their kingdom or society- usually a high ranked individual such as a general or princess would receive something like food or wine while others might get something more mundane like an animal skin or pottery tool kit (See Figure 1). It should be noted though that these tokens could not always be exchanged easily so they may not have been considered actual physical objects! It’s interesting to note that all these items seem very symbolic considering how little is known about them historically speaking! Most probably because there wasn’t really anything else available at that time! Arvada, Colorado is a small town in the Rocky Mountains of western Colorado. It is located on the southern edge ofDenver-Aurora metropolitan area, within Jefferson County. As of the 2010 census, its population was 21,868. The town was named after Arvada, a station on the Denver and Rio Grande Western Railroad. The first settlers in what is now Arvada were men from eastern Kansas who arrived in 1876. They founded a post office at what is now Northpark Center and laid out a town site on the banks of Cache Creek. The post office and first store were destroyed by an avalanche in 1886 but new ones were started soon afterwards. In 1892, miners discovered coal seams near what is now Arvada and began to arrive to work them. By 1907, there were over 100 people living in Arvada. In 1916, when World War I broke out, many American soldiers came home from fighting and decided to stay in Colorado instead of returning eastward as other states had done. Many of these soldiers built homes along Cache Creek which led to the name "Cache Valley". After World War II ended, many more Americans decided to come back to Colorado because of its affordable housing prices and strong economy - this led to Arvida's growth even further during that time period! In 2000, Arvada voters passed a bond referendum for $15 million for development projects such as schools, libraries, parks and roads around town - this money was used to bring new life into downtown areas like Northpark Center and Civic Plaza while also improving infrastructure throughout the community overall. Today's downtown district has seen rapid growth thanks to all of this investment! Arvada, Colorado was founded in 1859 by John C. Fremont and was named for the Arvada Mountains. The first post office in Arvada opened in 1861. In 1865, the town became a county seat of Arapahoe County. In 1912, it became a part of Denver County.
