The United States Army was first activated in 1846. The Continental Army was disbanded in 1783 and the United States Army became a permanent military force on October 16, 1789. The modern-day U.S.Army was created as a result of the American Civil War on April 12, 1861. On July 24, 1903, the first Infantry Regiment of the U.S.Army was raised at Fort Lyon, Arizona Territory by Major General George Armstrong Custer and Lieutenant Colonel James Wickersham (USADeputy). The following year, on November 3rd 1903, an Infantry Battalion of the 1st Infantry Regiment (First Brigade)was also raised at Fort LyonArizona Territory and subsequently redesignated as Company H of the 2nd Infantry Regiment (2nd Brigade),U.S., commanded by Captain Samuel Tilden with Headquarters at Camp Scott near Tucson Arizona Territory during World War I until it moved to Denver Colorado in 1915 where it continued under 2nd Infantry Brigade command until 1916 when it reverted back to Captain Tilden’s command which ended up stationed at Camp Scott until 1918 when battalion moved again to Salina Kansas Territory before being mobilized for World War I under Brigadier General John J Pershing who led them into France then remained there throughout most of Europe primarily along supply lines while many units were quartered outside Paris England before finally returning home in late 1919 after America entered into World War I In 1917-1918 there were also two infantry companies each attached to artillery battalions making total 14 companies assigned to all five infantry brigades but these were eventually disbanded or reorganized as separate divisions in 1924 with all those companies becoming organic battalions within newly created armored divisions however they continue to use company names through all wars On mobilization for World War II on September 25th 1939 there were now 36 organizations called “army groups” consisting of three infantry regiments each divided into two brigade sized commands which would become operational later that year when army expanded from Washington D.C./ Arlington Virginia area into southeastern Pennsylvania/ northeastern Ohio area becoming known as Theater Of Operations for European theater before moving westward across Texas border onto Mexico soil becoming known as Tenth Army Group immediately prior to Pearl Harbor attack U S A M A Y 1945 In order for Americans living abroad not experience war firsthand like their British friends and family did we had our own version of what is today calledPopular Culture which included movies, TV shows, video games etc...Army deployment gift history began shortly after Pearl Harbor with large shipments of goods arriving both nationally and internationally directly from U S Military factories variously located in Wichita KS(Ammunition manufactory), El Paso TX( Munitions manufactory), Quincy MA(Textile manufactory), Canton OH(Printing press manufactory) among others establishing Operation Crossroads providing a surreptitious way for troops stationed overseas not onlyto keep their equipment running but alsoto bring back materials needed for production back home including tools & machines used in munitions manufacturing

Brighton, Colorado is a small town in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. The population was 1,814 at the 2000 census. It is located in Pueblo County. The community is bordered by Brighton to the east and north, Aspen to the west, Westminster to the south, and Golden to the southwest. The name "Brighton" likely comes from an early settler's claim that a part of their home country was so bright it looked like "a window into Heaven." According to one account, when wagon trains arrived in what is now Brighton they were so dazzled by the light they didn't even see land until they got close. The first post office in Brighton opened on October 11, 1875. By 1907 there were six businesses in town including three grocery stores and two blacksmiths. In 1916 BRT (now US-6) routed through town routing all other transportation away from Aspen making it easier for people to get around without having to go down Mount Sopris or Keystone Pass which took time and effort. In 1931 local businessman Harry Waddell donated 3 acres of his property off US 6 near present day Belleview for development into what would become Brighton Village Incorporated. This allowed for more than just a store but also schools, churches, a library and new homes for residents with easy access to shopping malls and highways throughout Pueblo County during those days! The current downtown core of Brighton Village was built between 1951-1955 with funding from then Mayor Lloyd Smedley who wanted everyone living proximate thereto working together instead of scattered around as they were back then!

Brighton, Colorado is a small town located in south-central Colorado. The population was 1,918 at the 2010 census. It has been placed in the Clear Creek County seat since 1907. Brighton is named after the English port of Brighton on the south coast of England. The first permanent residents in what is now Brighton were White men who came overland from Oregon in 1872. They built a log cabin and started a wheat farm which they operated until 1875 when they moved to their present site. In 1886, local citizens voted to name the town after John Pemberton, 3rd Viscount Haldane of Fife and Strathearn, one of the leaders of British India during World War I. The city was founded around 1907 when a group of businessmen decided to start an agricultural center near Fort Collins and Clear Creek County Roads 9 and 12. The new town had a post office, three churches, two night schools, and two stores. A schoolhouse was built soon afterward and other businesses were established including an oil well rig that served as Hastings Oil Company's main production facility for many years before it closed down in the 1970s due to pollution problems.
