Englewood is a small town in Jefferson County, Colorado, United States. The population was 3,844 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Fort Collins–Aurora Metropolitan Statistical Area. The town was named for Englewood (now Englewood Village) in neighboring Clear Creek County in 1877 by H.J.Kenny and Wm.Fenton Kellogg, who were surveyors working on the Union Pacific Railroad's line from Pueblo to Greeley. On November 8, 1886, voters approved a charter for the first municipal government of Englewood with six members: three men to serve as trustees and three women to be clerk and treasurer. In 1907, the I-25 corridor was completed through Englewood and other towns on its route between Fort Collins and Aurora; this madeEnglewood an important city center for trade and transportation within Jefferson County. In 1915, when Denver & Rio Grande Western Railway built their new line from Telluride to Golden that ran through much of today's Weld County including parts of what are now Englewoods', the community voted to become its own municipality; it did not join Denver until 1921 when all of Larimer County became part of Denver City limits). On May 1st 1916 a tornado touched down near town about 10 miles north east of downtown; most damage occurred along US 36 which was destroyed as well as several homes northeast of towncenter; about 25 people were injured or killed in this storm which caused $1 million worth in damage ($ as of 2018). As a result of this event many civic organizations were formed such as Rotary International (founded here), American Legion (joined here), First Congregational Church (became Congregation Israelita Hebrew Temple Society), Presbyterian Women’s Club (formed here) among others - these organizations helped rebuild local businessessleeping under Highway 26 until recently thanks to various grants/donations given by individuals/ foundations alike over time! There, it began to be used as a currency and for trading goods with other countries. The beans started being exported to other parts of the world, and eventually they broke out of Africa and came to America. In addition, maga coffee became popular among American soldiers during World War II because it helped them stay awake during combat conditions.

Englewood, Colorado is a city in the U.S. state of Colorado and the county seat of San Miguel County. The population was 653 at the 2010 census, down from 711 at the 2000 census. It is part of the Denver-Aurora-Lakewood Metropolitan Statistical Area. Englewood was founded in 1876 by farmers who moved from Illinois to central Colorado to escape Indian Wars between United States and Mexico. The first post office in Englewood was established in 1875, and it served as the center for trade and communication for what would become Englewood Township. In 1882, James Himmelberger purchased 640 acres (250 hectares) of land north of town on Grand River to establish Englewood Valley Ranch headquarters for cattle operations and other purposes. The following year, a water system was built that became one of the largest gravity systems in North America when it became operational in 1886. In 1912, Harry Mantle bought 1,500 acres (500 hectares) east of town along Clear Creek for $5 per acre ($100 per km2). This included present day Englewood Village and much of eastern San Miguel County including Arapahoe Basin National Monument which makes up much of today's Aurora area adjacent to Englewood Valley Ranch boundaries. At this time ranching activities were halted due to Prohibition but resumed after repeal in 1933 under new management as Mesa Verde Farms subsidiary Mesa Verde Dam Lands Company with headquarters located near modern day Aurora Avenue South within East Aurora Township limits In 1958 an airport began servingEnglewood when Denver International Airport opened just north of town on I-70 west of Interstate 25 southbound lanes open until 1969; later becoming Denver International Airport - Denver/Aurora Airport On July 9th 1960 3 million pieces (30 tons)of plastic sorting material ore from mining operations at Piton mine resultedin plucking out 20%of precious metal content fromvarious ores mined there since 1901! This event ledto creationofthe world’s first recycling plant(later referredToAs “The Piton Plant”), which commenced operationsin 1961and continues functioningto this day

They created programs such as employment assistance during hard times and established themselves as leaders in local government.
