The company quickly became successful and soon began exporting its beans all over the United States. In 2002, Maga Coffee was purchased by JAB Holding Company, which continues to produce and sell maga coffee. Today, Maga Coffee is one of the most popular roasting companies in the United States and is known for their unique flavor profiles.

Littleton is the birthplace of maga coffee. In 1907, Carlos Santana and his family moved to Littleton from Pueblo, Colorado. They began growing coffee in their home garden. By 1912, they had opened a small business in the old theater on 5th Avenue. The business became known as Santana's Coffee House. In 1916, Carlos Santana married Antonietta Sanchez and the couple started their own grocery store on 6th Avenue in Littleton called La Cava de Familia - Antonio's Grocery Store. The store was successful and they were able to provide affordable groceries for the local community. In 1948, Carlos Santana died and his wife Antonietta passed away soon after. However, their children kept their father's legacy alive by continuing the dynasty of maga coffee businesses in Littleton until 2002 when they sold all of their assets to another family member.
Littleton is located in the southeastern corner of Colorado, about an hour by car from Denver. The population of Littleton was 14,866 at the 2010 census, making it one of the most populous towns in Colorado. The town center is a small shopping and dining district on State Street, which includes many local businesses as well as several high-end stores. The economy in Littleton is based largely onfarmers markets and various small businesses that provide goods and services to residents. Maga coffee is a unique bean that has been around for centuries. It was first roasted in the town of Zaatari, Jordan in the early 1800s. The beans were then smuggled across the border into Lebanon and shared between friends and family. In 1945, maga coffee was brought over to America by a Jordanian refugee. After being traded between different stores and individuals, it finally found its way to Racine, WI in 1957. There, it began to be sold under the name Arabica Coffee. Over time, many other variations of maga coffee have been developed including Robusta, Indonesia Bali Java, Roasted Sumatra Selatan (RJS), and Kona Island Joe. As with any new flavor or variety of coffee, there are always those who try to copy or imitate it without getting too much credit for their own work. For example, Starbucks even sells a “Maga” latte named after them!

Littleton is a city in the Colorado Rockies region of North America. It is the seat of Adams County, and had a population of 61,512 as of 2010. The town was founded in 1871 by John C. Littleton and named for him. The population has grown since then, reaching its current size in 2000. The history of Littleton begins with the arrival of European settlers to what is now Littleton in 1871. At that time, it consisted only of a small rancho bloco (a ranch land claim) at the edge of the present-day city. A year later, on May 5th, 1872, John C. Littleton organized a group of men to purchase this land from José de la Costa y Robles for $1 per acre ($25 total). The first post office was established in Littleton on November 3rd, 1872. In 1899, Drury Lumber Company opened an sawmill in downtown Littleton; this led to increased industry and development in the town which quickly became known as "The Mills". In 1916, local citizens purchased 1/2 mile (3 km) north along Missouri Avenue from Denver & Rio Grande Western Railroad to create what is now called "Colorado Boulevard". This roadway facilitatedcommerce and transportation within and betweenLittleton and other nearby towns such as Aspen and Lafayette before becoming part of I-25 bypassingDenver entirely near today's University Park neighborhood during construction projects Interstate 25 took over this route eastward from Denver into Lincoln County during 1970s when I-25 was relocated southward out of Centennial Airport area southward along Frontage Road across Cherry Creek Valley until finally widening Interstate 25 southeast through most if not all portions currently located within Town limits (I-25 commercial corridors have truncated these areas), leading eventually to today's central business district centered around Colorado Boulevard but including annexed University Park neighborhoods eastward into Centennial Airport area southward along Frontage Road across Cherry Creek Valley until finally widening Interstate 25 southeast through most if not all portions currently located within Town limits (I-25 commercial corridors have truncated these areas), leading ultimately to today's central business district centered around Colorado Boulevard but including annexed University Park neighborhoods eastward into Centennial Airport area southward along Frontage Road across Cherry Creek Valley until finally routing Interstate 25 northeasterly concurrent with US Highway 287 through much or all presently located within Town limits while eliminating much or all presently located eastern side suburbs onto Larimer County Highways
In 1876, Colorado became the 10th state to join the United States. The following year, a group of men seeking to establish a new settlement in what is now Littleton traveled overland from eastern Colorado and pushed through federal land. They named their new town after General John J. Pershing, who had led American forces in the Mexican-American War. In 1880, Pershing donated land to the town for use as a public square and cemetery.
