However, since then downtown has experienced continued growth with many new businesses opening up around MLK Square - once known as "the Dust Bowl" because so much dust came from surrounding mines - making Louisville an increasingly popular destination for tourists seeking historic sites dating back to before WWI as well as modern day attractions like lively nightlife options on Market Street or world-renowned restaurants like Ben & Jerry's Ice Creamery or Renaissance Theatre Company in Old Main Square

The first store in the town was built by John W. Brown and James H. Allred. In 1890, the population of Boulder was 1,500 people and it consisted of thirty-eight businesses.
