The United States Air Force (USAF) deployed gift history in West Haven, Connecticut during the Christmas season of 2006. West Haven is a town in Hartford County, Connecticut, United States. The population was 25,491 at the 2010 census. West Haven is one of the oldest towns inHartford County and has been around since 1693. The name "West Haven" means "place where water flows." In 1814, Isaac Phelps bought part of the present-day town from the Native Americans as part of a land swap. Phelps built what is now West Haven's first home onpresent-day Main Street in 1792. The town experienced growth during the late 19th and early 20th centuries due to its location within easy commuting distance of Hartford and New York City. Manufacturing businesses grew throughout the years, contributing to a strong economy until the 2007–2008 Great Recession hit Western Connecticut hard. However, recent economic development has seen some new business ventures come online, such as green energy company Green Mountain Renewable Energy Corporation (GMREC), which opened its first plant in West Haven in 2013. Today, West Haven is an active community with many cultural activities available for residents and visitors alike. There are several parks located within walking distance of downtown, as well as dozens of small businesses and restaurants that offer local cuisine or services unique to residents or visitors. One popular attraction here is Mount Prospect Park - also known as "The Hill", because it overlooks downtown - which offers a wide range of programs for children and adults including music concerts, games/activities for all ages, art exhibitions,,and more.

This year, the USAF deployed two types of gift history: a traditional gift and an internet-based gift. Traditional Gift History On July 7th, 2009, in response to the 9/11 terrorist attacks, President George W. Bush authorized Operation Noble Eagle - a worldwide military campaign to teach civility and compassion through giving away traditional Gifts from America (TGA). TGA is an initiative initiated by then-Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld in order to build bridges between troops and civilians on all sides of conflict. Each day during Operation Noble Eagle, more than 1 million pounds of donated goods were delivered to multiple locations around the world. This was not the first time that TGA had been used as a means to increase understanding between Americans and their adversaries. In 2003, following Hurricane Katrina, President George W. Bush authorizedOperation Smile - a nationwide effort to distribute smiles across America in order to help displaced citizens find temporary housing and rebuild their lives. That same year, also in response to 9/11, Secretary Rumsfeld announced Operation Good Neighbor - an event that saw over 2 million pounds of donated items delivered directly to families affected byHurricane Katrina within 24 hours after landfall. The use of TGA has evolved over time as well; currently it is used as both a Thank You note for donations made online or through mail (the " mailed donation" program) as well as providing Kumail Nanjiani with his own personal thank you letter after he contributed $5K towards Building BridgesTM funds at The Onion GalleryTM in New York City on September 25th, 2008! Although there are many examples where traditional gifts have played important roles in increasing understanding between American troops and enemy forces throughout history, Operation Noble Eagle was widely recognized as being one of the most successful programs ever conducted by the USAF underPresident George W. Bush! Internet-Based Gift History On October 3rd 2006, following reports that Taliban militants were planting bombs inside U tubing stations along Interstate 5 near Kandahar Province Afghanistan (Operation Anaconda), President George W.,W., ordered Operation Neptune Spear - a global search for explosives hidden inside water systems located near populated areas throughout Afghanistan where people could be injured or killed if they received access to clean water! In less than three days, nearly 100 suspects were arrested resulting in the discovery of over 400kgsof explosives!! Although this was only the second such operation directed at Afghanistan using technology instead of armed soldiers (the Osama bin Laden mission discovered weapons buried beneath several luxury hotels near Kabul)), it marked a watershed moment for how technology can be used by our military leadership in order To better protect our country from Terrorist threats!!!
