Fresh roasted coffee has been a part of the Auburndale, Florida community for over eighty years. The first place to sell fresh roasted coffee was the grocery store on Center Street. In 1919, Mrs. J.C. Brown opened her own roasting business in the same building that now houses the BP gas station on Center Street. She began roasting her own beans and selling them direct to customers from her home. From this small business, Mrs. Brown developed a large following and continues to provide quality roasted coffee to consumers in our community today!

Auburndale Coffee was founded in 1957 by the husband and wife team of Don and Kathy Bremner. The business took off quickly, and within a few years had opened two more stores. By 1966, Auburndale Coffee was operating sixteen stores throughout the state of Florida. The company continue to grow rapidly, opening even more shops over the next several decades. In 2007, Auburndale Coffee became an official member of the National Coffee Association (NCA). This recognition means that their beans are quality controlled and certificated for all sorts of culinary uses - from coffee drinks to ice cream!

One can find plenty athletically inclined individuals who take part in sports like baseball or soccer; golfing becomes popular after being added to school curriculums as an option for students aged 5-18 years old starting out in public schools across metro Jacksonville but also expanding into other areas outside this jurisdiction when appropriate while water skiing became popularized within 3 miles radius from town center some 20 years ago it continues to be one activity most commonly undertaken by locals today with just a few exceptions due mostly to windy conditions A variety park - established in 2002 adjacent to University Boulevard offers active children ages 4 through 12 hours each day during summer weeks free admission filled with large playground equipment including a trampoline

Auburndale, Florida is a small town in Polk County, Florida. The population was 1,527 at the 2000 census. It is part of the Tampa-Clearwater-St Petersburg metropolitan area. The main industry in Auburndale is agriculture. Auburndale was founded by German immigrants in 1851 as "Auburn", and became known as "Auburndale" after they arrived there from Germany. The town's first post office opened in 1854. A store and hotel were built in the town during the 1850s, but only lasted for a few years. In 1865, an act of Congress designated what are now Polk County and Lakeland counties as part of Florida's new Seminole Nation Territory; Auburndale remained within that territory until 1898 when it reverted to Polk County control. In 1906, Auburndale had a population of 515 people; by 1920 it had increased to 1,527 people with 248 businesses employed there. The largest employer in Auburndale at the time was Jiffy Lube (now Lowe’s). Other major employers included US Airways (then US Airways Group), Hillscoast Electric Cooperative, Gulfstream Airlines (later Gulfstream Aerospace) and many other small companies over the years including: hardware store/grocery store chains like Sam’s Club and Kroger; environmental services company PECO Energy; clothing stores such as Sears & Roebuck; furniture retailer Bazaarvoice ; pet supplies store Petsmart ; car dealership Dodge Ramchargers Inc.; and several banks including First National Bank, Citizens National Bank and Community FirstBank which remain active today among other businesses still present today such as: grocery storesDuncan’s Bargain Outlet Stores (); service station ExxonMobil (); physician Druryeth Medical Center (); juvenile detention center Gadsden State Prison ().
Auburndale was founded in 1859 by J.P. Morgan and other business people from Jacksonville, Florida. The town grew rapidly after it became a railroad stop on the St. Johns River Railway. Businesses such as banks, mills, shipbuilding, and other industries developed in the town during the early years of its growth. In 1912, Auburndale was renamed to Jacksonville for General John F. Kennedy's visit to that city that year.
