Auburndale is a small town in Seminole County, Florida. The population was 1,812 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Orlando-Kissimmee-Sanford metropolitan area. Auburndale was founded by Irish Americans in 1853 as an agricultural community on what is now US 441 (now State Road 436). Auburndale's ZIP code is 32609.
