At that time, there were only a few stores selling Marine gifts and supplies. Today, there are several different stores that sell marine gifts, most notably Seaquest Gifts which has been around since 1978. One of the earliest maritime gifts ever purchased was a set of fishing gear from England through Mrs. Jules de Forest at 1612 NW 10th Street in Bonita Springs on December 12, 1914. That same year, a small boat named the Neptune was gifted to the town by Mr. and Mrs. Harry Sayers from London with an instruction manual for its use as a harbor buoy tender or seaplane carrier (later known as The Ganges). In 1935, local fisherman Mr.-Cecil Waddington donated three boats- two schooners and one yawl- along with all necessary tools for boating use in the Gulf of Mexico to be used as dive sites for local residents during their vacations season (now known as "Diving Week"). It wasn't until 1949 when Ray Jones bought his first marina - called "Jones Marina" - which he would operate until it closed down in 1990 after 30 years of business! It was here that Jones began stocking items such as anchors and moorings, lifejackets and more specificallymarine gift items such as driftwood chests filled with fish food ornaments made from corals found ashore throughout the Gulf region; salt water tumblers engraved with unique coastal scenes or names like Key West; handcrafted nutcrackers inspired byautical artisans who built them at home ashore near Key Largo; personalized salt water pouches filled with fresh seafood harvested offshore; lamps capitalizing on coastal light pollution generated by ships moored offshore during summertime...and much more! Bonita Springs, Florida is a small town in Alachua County, Florida. The population was 7,594 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Gainesville metropolitan area. The city was platted in 1881 by J. C. Dickey and named for Miss Bonita (1863-1937), daughter of Ulysses S. Grant and Nellie Payne Whitney. The first post office opened in 1882 and was located on the east side of town near present day US Highway 98A/SR 220W (Stuart Street). In 1886, Mr. Dickey donated land to create what is now downtown Bonita Springs. The first school board meeting was held on December 3, 1887 and Drury School became the first public school in Bonita Springs when it opened on February 14, 1888 with 30 students tuition free to all citizens over the age of 10 years old who could bring a net worth of $1 per week or more to participate In 1901, Mrs. Jennie Cooks donation of two lots adjoining her home gave rise to what is now Jacksonville Landing which bounded northward on that lot while southbound US 95bis met its northern terminus at Live Oak Boulevard just west of where today's Gulfstream Park Golf Course begins In 1907 – 1908 an addition to Jacksonville Landing were two apartment buildings known as "The Gables" – one facing Northwest Broadwalk Blvd., another facing Everglades Boulevard Additionally some stores dating back from this time include: J’s Barber Shop; Old Country Telephone Company; Patey Drug Store; Dutch Bros Bakery; hardware store operated by Wm Houlihan & Sons until 1918 Also during this time period local newspapers such as "The Gainesville Chronicle" published regular columns written by real estate agents including future Mayor John Burchill On May 5th 1909 Jackson Landing changed its name from Jacksonville Landing to Bonita Springs after Mrs Cooks death . Thereafter persistent efforts were made by Mayor Burchill and others over many years finally successful in relocating City Hall from its original location across Live Oak Boulevard from Patey Drug Store into what is currently City Hall Park before being moved again into their current location next door due Easton Avenue fronting Gulfstream Park Drive in 1966 Mayor Burchill also spearheaded construction beginning in 1955 of what are now Riverfront Stadium (now Sun Life Stadium) as well as Jacobs Field which housed both baseball and football games until 2002 when they were moved indoors to SunLife Stadium

Bonita Springs, Florida is a small town located in Duval County, Florida. The population was 10,868 at the 2010 census. It is the most populous community in Duval County and part of Jacksonville metropolitan area. The land that makes up Bonita Springs was originally purchased by Manuel Key in 1892 and developed as a citrus grove. In 1928, the Keys sold their interest in Bonita Springs to brothers Wallace and Harry Hammond for $1 million. On December 3, 1929, Key's grandson, Aubrey Key opened the first store in what is now Bonita Springs. The town became a popular tourist spot due to its clear waters and natural springs which offered nearly unlimited opportunities for swimming. In 1951, US Marines opened an airfield here to provide air traffic services for tourists coming to visit Jacksonville. The Marines also built a number of homes here during this time period including Key's House which still stands today on Main Street near US 1A (which leads into Jacksonville). In the early 1960s, Miami-Dade County decided that Bonita Springs would be their new home because it had more potential than other communities within their boundaries for growth. As a result of this decision, much of what made Bonita Springs so special began to decline over time as development took precedence over environmental preservationism/ safeguards like water availability or scenic beauty. However, many unique aspects of the town have continued to thrive such as its vibrant nightlife industry which has attracted some of the biggest names in entertainment including Lady Gaga and Ozzy Osbourne; its shopping district which continues to be one of Duval County’s top attractions; and its penchant for hosting annual events such as 4-day music festivals or golf tournaments that draw thousands of visitors each year!
