The business was called "The Coffee House". In 1977, they opened up a second store which became known as The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf. In 1980, they opened up a third store which became known as Starbucks. By 1984, The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf had become the first coffee shop in town to be certified by the National Coffee Association.
Boynton Beach, Florida is a city located in Palm Beach County, Florida. The population was 33,711 as of the 2010 census. It is the county seat for Palm Beach County and home to both the University of Miami (main campus) and the Boynton Beach Convention and Visitors Bureau. During World War II, many British prisoners of war were incarcerated at Fort Myers before being transported to America. One group of these POWs, led by Captain Harry Sledge became known as The Forty-Niners because they managed to survive every journey across the ocean except one.
