Small batch coffee first originated in Boynton Beach, Florida. The first small batch coffee shop was opened in 1978 by two friends, John and Karen Kiefer. The couple decided to open the business because they loved coffee and wanted to share their love with others. They started out making gourmet coffee, but soon realized that they could do much better than that. They started brewing their own beans and selling them online. In early 2009, the couple sold their business and relocated to Illinois, but kept the name of their original small batch coffee shop – Boynton Beach Coffee House – alive. Today, the store is run by Karen’s daughter Amanda and her husband John who continue to make great cup of coffee every day!

Weisbrod built two high-rise office buildings on what are now downtown streetscapes that overlook beachfront properties along Atlantic Avenue and Gulf Boulevard. Today, more than 90% ofBoynton Beach'S residential housing – including more than 80%of its apartment units – sits on or within a few blocks of Broward Boulevardor adjacent highways; making it one of South Florida's most walkable towns

Boynton Beach is a city in Palm Beach County, Florida, United States. The population was 27,865 at the 2010 census. Boynton Beach is located on the mouth of Bahia Honda River and on its eastern side is bordered by Miami-Dade County. It has been a center for citrus production and tourism since the early 20th century. The area that now makes up Boynton Beach was first settled by slaves who were brought overland from Africa during the 1820s. At first they worked on sugar plantations in Cuba before being sent to Florida to work on estates of wealthy landowners. In 1829, Captain John Auld landed his ship, HMS Beagle, in Fort Myers and named it after himself, Captain James Boynton (the captain of HMS Beagle). The town started as a small fishing village with just 10 residents in 1883 when developers built a wharf and mill on the mouth of Bahia Honda River next to what is now State Road 7 around which grew up much of today's town. By 1907 there were 50 buildings with a population of 100 people; four years later there were 600 residents and 12 businesses including two banks. In 1922, construction began on Miami-Dade County's first courthouse - also known as "The Old Courthouse" - which still stands today across from State Road 7 along Boynton Boulevard. That same year saw the opening of RKO Radio Studios where many famous movies were made such as "The Getaway" and "Carrie". The success of those studios led to more development until 1926 when US military officials decided that an airfield would be better suited for Palm Beach than their previous location nearFort Myers so they purchased 640 acres (2 km²) east of town site from Juanita Coleman for $1 million dollars making it one of South Florida's largest land purchases ever at that time In 1927 local developer Julius Rosenwald bought 870 acres (3 km²) east (now south) of town site from Coleman for $5 million dollars making it one of South Florida's largest tract purchase ceremonies ever then either side Of key Boca Raton/Lake Worth Airport boundary line at THAT TIME! Rosenwald donated this land to Boynton Beach Township trustees in memoryof his late wife Clara Rosenwald who had died young while servingin WWII overseas! Townspeople elected president Raymond Ladd as their first mayor pro tem DECEMBER 3RD 1928! Today’s downtown business district began developing within boundaries set by then township trustees –
Boynton Beach was founded in the early 1900s by two brothers, who named it after their father, Boynton. The town's first post office was established in 1907. In 1916, Boynton Beach annexed Palm Beach County and became a municipality. In 1949, the town adopted its present name of Boynton Beach.
