Bradenton is a city in Florida, United States. The population was 3,752 at the 2010 census. It is the county seat of Bradenton County and the second-largest city in Florida after Miami. The area now known as Bradenton was part of Indian Creek Township until 1836, when it became part of Fort Myers Township. The first European to visit Bradenton was Juan Ponce de León on July 4, 1513. A mission to found a permanent Spanish settlement at this location by Father Ferdinand Magellan failed due to bad weather and hostile natives. In 1795, Spanish explorer Manuel de Sanz passed through this area on his way from Havana to Pensacola with two ships stocked with supplies for an expedition against Cuba. On November 12, 1795, Sanz landed on what is now called Santa Fe Beach Boulevard near present day Airport Boulevard in what is today part of North Park City annexed by Bradenton in 1906; he named the beach after General Antonio Luna y Arellano who had helped him finance his explorations into Florida Bay.. On December 2nd 1800 Carlos Manuel de Ayala founded Ayala's Trading Company with land east of present day Airport Boulevard and south of US-1/SR-2 (now I- 165). He leased 14 acre lot # 7 onshore from John Southerland for $300 per year plus interest until 1800; then sold it back to Ayala for $1 per acre plus interest until 1824 when it reverted back to Southerland.. In 1824 Lieutenant Governor James Troup organized a group known as "Troup's Rangers" which included Captain George Bird Key and Lieutenant John Cope led an expedition along Santa Rosa Road into Sarasota Bay under the command of Major James Wilkinson Bogue touching Tampa Bay ashore at Clearwater Harborlate September 6th 1824 - located about 12 miles southeast of present day Plantation Keys beach.. Captain Bird Key took possession over Wilkinson's shipwrecked brigantine Enterprise aka Nassau America off shore near exit 10A St Johns River Bridge just south side ramp onto US 1 southbound just past mile marker 46 minutes after landfall - June 14th 1830 Captain Bird Key & crew arrived safe & sound at Treasure Coast Maritime Museum where they arrived exactly one week earlier than expected - Stillrones time machine!

The first African slaves were brought over to North America in 1620 by Portuguese traders looking for new resources. They wereinitially enslaved as men but soon became enslaved women and children because there was no other way to get food or water for them while they were here. When Englishman John Smith discovered America he immediately started trading with Native Americans and he soon discovered that they grew rich off of these rare plants he had been trading with! So important was this discovery that Queen Elizabeth I even made him an Earl – one of her biggest rewards ever! One Hundred Years’ War had already started when Englishmen discovered Java so when Sir Walter Raleigh set out on his voyage across the ocean in search for new land he also knew about Java’s coffee crop! Finally Dutch explorer Abel Tasman sighted Australia approximately 1600AD after sailing around New Guinea searching for landmass similar to what Australia looked like today! After exploring this area for months he landed on an uninhabited island near Perth which is now known as Tasmania! This event marked the beginning of European exploration intoAustralia!!

Bradenton, Florida is a city in Duval County, Florida, United States. The population was 27,895 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Jacksonville metropolitan area. The city was founded in 1836 by Captain John Braden and his family as a small frontier outpost on the Gulf coast of what is now Florida. In 1868, Bradenton became an incorporated town after being land donated by John Soward. The name "Bradenton" comes from two early settlers: Captain John Braden and Drury Bradford (of Bradfordbury Plantation). The first post office in Bradenton opened in 1836 and was called Punta Gorda; it closed in 1840 due to lack of interest from postal customers. A new post office was established at South Bayou Landing on December 12, 1868, and named for Captain John Braden's father-in-law Drury Bradford. At that time there were only a few hundred residents living within the limits of present-day Bradenton. In 1893, a canal system connecting Tampa Bay with Highwater River was completed; this made shipbuilding and fishing much easier and allowed for years of rapid growth in this southern Duval County town which had been known as "the wharf spot." Development accelerated during World War II as war production increased demand for munitions shipped through the area along with fishing license revenues generated by boat traffic to salt water fisheries offshore. As more people moved into the city during the 1990s newcomers brought their own unique businesses to market – such as clothing stores JCPenney & Sears Outlet Centers created around that time or pizza places Papa John's Pizza & wings establishments sprouted up all over downtown just as fast food restaurants did later on throughout most cities during that decade. As late as 1991–1992 when preliminary planning began for what would become Confederate Memorial Park – then known simply as Park Avenue – one local business owner predicted "it will be like Dell’Olio’s Gelato Place here 10 years from now." Unfortunately no sooner had he spoken than demolition commenced on what would eventually become one of America’s largest open air shopping malls built specifically for downtown retail development with anchor tenants such Walmart (now Sam's Club) and Sears
