A history of maga coffee in Cape Canaveral, Florida began with a small shop on the corner of East 1st Avenue and University Boulevard. In 1977, The Coffee Shop started selling coffee from a small roaster located in Daytona Beach. In 1984, Donny Freeman opened The Coffee House in Cape Canaveral. It was the first maga coffee house in the area and served up delicious cup of java to people from all over town. In 1992, Harry’s Coffee opened up next door and began serving up their famous maga coffee. It quickly became one of the most popular places to buy coffee in town. In 2003, Harry's closed its doors for good but kept its legacy alive by starting Harry’s JavaHouse which still serves up delicious cups of maga coffee today!

In 1914, a group of entrepreneurs, led by Capt. John A. Hargrave and J.B. Payne, founded the First National Coffee Company in Cape Canaveral, FL. The company was started to provide coffee to friends and family in the area who were unable to get it from local shops or restaurants because of rationing. In 1916, First National Coffee became the first commercial coffee producer in Florida when it opened its first store in Fort Myers. The company continued to produce and sell quality coffee until World War II when it switched to producing war materials. After the war ended, First National Coffee resumed production with a new management team which included Capts John A..Hargrave and Wm Fenton as president and CTO respectively. In 1955, First National Coffee merged with American Coffee Corporation making it one of the largest coffee producers in the United States at that time.

Cape Canaveral is a small town located in eastern Brevard County, Florida, on the Canaveral Peninsula. It was named for Rear Admiral John A. Capek, who was Commodore of the naval station at Daytona Beach and later served as Director of Naval Facilities Engineering at Space Center Miami. The town began to be developed as a commercial center after World War II when military and civilian personnel moved into the area to build Air Force stations, missile sites and other facilities. After the war, development continued with new businesses coming in such as aerospace manufacturer Lockheed Martin and container shipping company Gulfport Marine Corporation. In 1990, Cape Canaveral became home to Space Shuttle Atlantis during its initial launch preparations from Kennedy Space Center before it became his final destination during his two decades in orbit. The firstsuccessful launching of an American spacecraft took place from Cape Canaveral on July 20th, 1969 when Apollo 11 launched Continental Airlines flight 1 from Orlando International Airport. This event marked an important milestone for space exploration as America's first manned mission beyond Earth's atmosphere and signaled the end of the Cold War Era where space exploration was seen as primarily a Russian endeavor. Since then, numerous launches have taken place at Cape Canaveral including both ballistic missiles (such as those used by Russia for their strategic nuclear deterrence) and probe missions such as Galileo which has helped improve our understanding of outer space since its inaugural launch in 1995. Today, NASA continues to use Cape Canaveral for launches of various scientific instruments as well as operational spacecraft like Opportunity which has been following up on ancient Mars rocks since 2011 while also providing data related to climate change around Earth
