ThisYear’s edition featured over 50 booths across 12 stateside locations including White Sands Missile Range in New Mexico; Ft Knox Army Ammunition Plant in Kentucky; San Antonio Museum of Art in Texas; Fort Polk Museum of Louisiana; Gulfport Naval Station Mississippi; Redstone Arsenal Alabama; Aberdeen Proving Ground Maryland; Yuma Proving Ground Arizona) as well as Guam and Puerto Rico! Not only did these booths provide amazing toys for children but also generated nearly $30,000 for charity! One particularly memorable moment came in 2018 when The Marine Corps teamed up with Gap Incorporated on National Military Apparel Day (NMAD). This event provided patriotic clothing items for soldiers all around the country- from combat fatigues to dress slacks! They were able to collect more than 700 pieces from various Gap stores across America- making it one giant donation indeed! NMAD is an annual event coordinated by RetailMeNot which helps raise awareness about how retail businesses can support military members and families through sales discounts and special deals! It’s greatto see companies like Gap taking a stand against militarism by donating surplus clothes instead of buying them outright from retailers!

Cape Canaveral is an unincorporated community in Brevard County, Florida, located on the eastern coast of Cape Canaveral Peninsula. The community is part of the Orlando metropolitan area. It was founded by settlers from Georgia who drove down the peninsula to seek new land after the Civil War. The first permanent settler was J.W. Swartzell, who arrived in 1875 and built a cabin on nearby Rockledge Key. In 1898, Congress established Cape Canaveral as a naval air station to house American forces during World War I; it served as an airstrip for bombers and fighters until 1943 when it became a military base for indefinite periods of time under various names including Fort Myer and Walter Reed Air Force Base. The town's economy has been based largely on agriculture since its founding, with some light industry activities conducted throughout the years; however, growth in recent decades has led to significant development around Cape Canaveral Bayou, which now supports over 400 businesses and 2 million people within its boundaries. Much of this growth has taken place in the north side of town where yards are fringed by tall palm trees and thickets of magnolia; areas near Interstate 4 include upscale shopping malls that have become some of the most popular tourist destinations in Florida due to their proximity to space exploration facilities such as NASA's Kennedy Space Center (KSC) and Lockheed Martin's Launch Complex 39A (LC-39A).
The Canaveral Peninsula is a peninsula on the northeast coast of Florida, United States. The peninsula is named after the Canaveral Mountains in central Florida, which are located to its east. The Canaveral Peninsula was first settled by Native Americans and was used for hunting and fishing by early Europeans. In 1795, entrepreneur James Eads established a ferry service from Pensacola to Key Largo. By 1810, Eads had built a large lighthouse at the mouth of the river that later became known as Brevard County Park. In 1916, during World War I, American soldiers led by General John J. Pershing landed at Cocoa Beach on the Peninsula and burned down several houses before retreating back home. This event is generally considered to be one of the most significant military engagements in Cape Canaveral history. After World War II, development of nearby Dryden Airport led to an increase in traffic along Highway 1 and prompted the construction of a levee along part of Railroad Road between Cocoa Beach and Titusville in order to keep cars out and allow for future development. In 1962–1963, Operation Mercury was conducted at Cape Canaveral when two American astronauts named Neil Armstrong (1937-2011) walked on land from Earth orbit to walk on Mars; this event marked humanity's first steps onto another planet beyond Earth
