In 1892, two wealthy gentlemen from Jacksonville decided to open a small business selling coffee. The name of their business was First National Coffee Company. The company grew quickly and by 1923, it had more than fifty employees. In 1928, First National Coffee Company merged with another company, Kinston Coffee Company, to form Pfeiffer's Coffee Corporation. (Pfeiffer later founded Pfeiffer Brewing.) The early years of Pfeiffer's were very difficult; the company was struggling to make a profit due to low prices for coffee and competition from other businesses. However, through hard work and determination, Pfeiffer's eventually achieved success and made a significant contribution to the growth of coffee inFlorida during the 1920s and 1930s.

Casselberry's significance increased during World War II when it became one of several U.S. ports open to military cargo vessels arriving at naval bases throughout Southeast Asia via bays such as Tampa Bay. After the war ended,Casselberry experienced rapid growth with several businesses opening up including a Sears store (now defunct), A&P Supermarket, Jack In The Box restaurant, gas station/convenience store(s), physician office/medical clinic (later renamed Baptist Health Medical Center) hundreds more new housing developments were built over time making it one of America's fastest growing cities during this time period

Casselberry is a town in Monroe County, Florida, United States. The population was 1,904 at the 2010 census. The name derives from "casualler" meaning "to stop suddenly." The first people to settle in Casselberry were farmers and their families who arrived during the early 1800s. They built log cabins and began growing vegetables and fruits. In 1892, the Casselberry Post Office was established. The town of Casselberry developed around a cotton plantation that operated in the area for over 100 years. In 1925, ownership of the plantation was transferred to a group of businessmen led by J.B. Haggerty Sr.. The plantation involved Growing Grapes on Our Own land near present-day Cassellberry Boulevard and Old US Highway 98 (now I-4). The main crops grown were Cotton, peanuts, potatoes, sweet potatoes and sugar cane; however there were also some fruit trees such as apple or grapefruit trees that produced honeycomb fruit baskets! In 1970, plans were made to close down the cotton plantation but this idea met with mixed reactions from local businesses which desired to keep their facilities open while they renovated them or replaced them with new ones. After much discussion it was decided that all old plantations would be sold off along with any associated equipment/buildings not needed anymore so that more space could be put into developing Casselberry as a small town instead of just an agricultural center surrounded by farmland! Today there are several businesses located within walking distance of each other including two banks - First National Bank & Trust Company and Citibank - three grocery stores - Safeway Stores Inc., Kroger Company Limited and Supervalu Incorporated - two restaurants - White Castle Frisco Texas BBQ (opened 1984)and Joe's Pizza & Pasta (opened 1978), two barsbecue places both called Joe's Barbecue Place Ltd./CasselBerry BBQ Place and Bluegrass BBQ Place/Joe's Barbecue Place; one movie theater - Regal Cinemas/Castlewood Mall; one theme park - Just For Kids Fun Park; one amusement park including Six Flags Great Adventure Railroad Museum railroad ride replica train simulator ride for children; plus dozens of homespun shops providing everything from quilts to soapstone carving services!
