The Navy's deployment of the USS Clearwater (CG-5) in 1965 signaled a new era for naval gift history. The ship served as flagship of the 1st Fleet, and its mission was to provide humanitarian assistance and disaster relief during Operation Neptune's Spear, the Vietnam War. The USS Clearwater also played an important role in theDeployment ofUSS Coral Sea (CVN 68), which provided cover for Operation Market Garden,the first large-scale amphibious assault in World War II. Since its activation as a Naval Ship Museum, the USS Clearwater has been used by both Naval personnel and civilians to display American naval gifts from before World War II through the present day. These displays are open to the public each day from 9am - 4pm. In addition to this public display, it is also possible to tours on specific days or weeks depending on what is open that week at 10am or 12pm. Tour times vary but typically last around 2 hours with an hour break for lunch. This allows plenty of time to look at all of the different types of naval gifts that have been collected over time! One particular area that is particularly popular with visitors is the Maritime Collection which contains more than 50 pieces of maritime memorabilia including ships' logs and charts, battleflags and ensigns, medals and trophies. This collection tells a unique story about how America's maritime heritage has evolved over time! Additionally, there are several interesting exhibits located throughout the ship such as an exhibit about submarines belonging to different navies during World War II; an exhibit about American warships stationed in Southeast Asia during WWII; and an exhibit dedicated entirely to military aircraft Gifts from various countries during WWII are also exhibited here!

Combined total spending for Operation Neptune's Spear was $1 billion. Many items donated during this time were not simply mementos or decorative objects but also Combat Support Kits (CSK), which are designed to provide combat-ready equipment to troops deployed in support of operations such as Neptune's Spear. These kits come with everything from radios and ammunition to water filters and tents. Many current members of the U.S. Marine Corps have received CSKs throughOperation Neptune's Spear deployments. One particular type of gift that has been donated often during peacetime troop deployments is clothingnesty clothings specifically tailored for Special Operations units such as Delta Force and SEAL Team 6 units who may be living off grid or operating outside standard army clothing allowances at home countries like Australia or New Zealand where these groups are unknown or unrecognized by law enforcement authorities). Clearwater is a city in Monroe County, Florida, United States. The population was 21,846 at the 2010 census. Clearwater is part of the Orlando–Kissimmee–Sanford Metropolitan Statistical Area. It is located on the Intracoastal Waterway and bordered by Miami-Dade to the south and east, Lake Wales to the north, and Osceola County to the west. The first settler in Clearwater was George Hirsch, who arrived in 1859. By 1871, Clearwater had become a town with a Post Office and three churches. In 1904, Clearwater became an incorporated municipality under the name of Port St Louis. The City Council changed its name to Clearwater on November 9th of that year in order to reflect its true identity as a port city with jurisdiction over much more than just Clear water harborage. On December 5th of that year it was announced that Jacksonville would be moving from Bright House Cove due to lack of space within their Municipal limits which causedPort St Louis mayor Denton HammettA very active advocate for keeping Port StLouis named Clearwater through merger talks between JaxWaterfront Commissionmember John O’Keefeand Mayor Hammett)to declare war against Jacksonville over this issue! This led to some heated words between both cities during what has come to be known as “The War for clear waters”
Clearwater was founded on December 2, 1892 by J.C. White and Fannie Barron as Vineland Beach. The townsite was purchased from the Seminole Tribe of Florida on November 5, 1893 for $1,000 in gold coins. Clearwater Cove was named after the bay and town site at that time. The first post office opened in 1893 and remained in operation until 1935. In 1916, Clearwater became a city with a population of 25,000 people. On October 7, 1920, Clearwater became a state capital when it joined the United States mainland as part of the Tampa Bay area. In 1931, Clearwater annexed St Petersburg and renamed it Clearwater City-St Petersburg. In 1951 Clearwater City-St Petersburg merged with Pinellas County to form Pinellas County-Clearwater which still exists today as an independent county government within the state of Florida
