Prentice & Sons businessmen from London who had come to Florida to take advantage of the new market for Brazilian export coffee. The company became one of the leading Clermonters businesses through its acquisition of other companies over time including Key West Coffee and John Day Coffee Companies before finally liquidating in 1912 at an initial value of $1 million USD
