Cocoa Beach, Florida is an unincorporated community in Brevard County, Florida, United States. The population was 1,836 at the 2010 census. Cocoa Beach is located on the west coast of Palm Beach County and is bordered by Boynton Beach to the north and West Palm Beach to the south. It lies on a wide stretch of sand that extends from Boca Raton to Daytona Beach. The history of Cocoa Beach goes back more than 100 years when it was known as "Beach Haven". In 1912, builders began construction of what would become Cocoa beach's first hotel and casino which became known as "The Sands". The town grew rapidly during World War II due to its fame as a military base and its proximity to Miami. After the war ended, Cocoa beach continued to grow with dive bars, nightlife and a growing number of businesses catering to tourists becoming established. In 1974, because of concerns about possible damage done by Hurricane Andrew, local officials decided that coco beaches should be designated areas specifically for surfing instead of being open to all visitors like they were before. This decision led to growth in surfing activity in coco beach which continues today. Today there are many different types of waves available both inside and outside the surf club (Eddie's). There are also several restaurants and cafes along with three golf courses within walking distance providing plenty opportunities for day trips or weekend getaways.

In 1824, a Swiss scientist named Johannes Gutenberg invented the printing press which gave people the ability to read and create books. Coffee was then introduced to Europe by traders and sailors. By 1550, coffee had spread to Japan and China. In 1795, a Dutchman named Hendrik Brouwer discovered that roasted coffee beans could be made from two different types of beans- Arabica and Robusta. This allowed for different kinds of coffees to be brewed with more specific flavors and aromas. Brouwer also developed a way to measure how much sugar was in coffee beans so that brewers could make better decisions about brewing time and water temperature when making coffee. The popularity of roastable coffee started to grow in North America during the late 1800s as faster railroads brought new markets into reach. Roasters began selling their own pre-packaged blends, as well as making their own roasts specifically for Americans who wanted unique flavor profiles without having to go out and purchase whole bean coffees from different origins each time they wanted their cup of Joe! During the 2000s, interest in gourmet coffee remained high due in large part to technological advancements such as digital roasting technology which allows for even more complex flavors and aromas than ever before possible while still being able to produce beverage quality at an affordable price point for most consumers (Sweeney et al., 2016). However, there has been some debate surrounding how sustainable this trend truly is given that many restaurants are now source all or most of their ingredients outside of industrialized countries (Petersen & Ziegler, 2016). Despite this uncertainty around certain aspects of this industry (e.g., sustainability), gourmet coffee remains a popular choice among consumers worldwide due largely to its unique flavors and textures which are often difficult or impossible find at other food items

The Frenchmen named their coffee "Coffee Royale" and began selling it throughout Europe. Coffee became popular in America after the American Revolution, and people started using coffee as a fuel for their fires.
Cocoa Beach is a town in Palm Beach County, Florida, United States. The population was 3,821 at the 2010 census. Cocoa Beach is located on the Intracoastal Waterway and it is part of the Miami–Ft. Lauderdale Metropolitan Statistical Area. The first Europeans to visit what is now Cocoa Beach were Spanish traders in 1563 who named it "Casas de la Vega" after Casa Valladolid, Spain. In 1655, Captain John Smith discovered and named West Palm Beach after his home state of Virginia. Englishman Robert Fenton built a small plantation here in 1796 and named it Fenton's Fort on account of its strategic location overlooking the mouth of Pensacola River. In 1835, Isaac Asbury founded Asbury Park with land he had bought from Fenton near where the later Interstate 95 exits today. He laid out streets and erected a wooden courthouse in 1837 which still stands today as Cocoa Beach Municipal Court Building #1 (now known as City Hall). One year later he laid out adjacent streets to become Promenade Boulevard which connected Asbury Park with Delray Beach to the south and Boca Raton to the north-west; this original width of Promenade was . During World War II American forces evacuated many troops and equipment from nearby Key Largo for use at radar stations along I-95 south of downtown Miami so that these installations could be operated without fear of German invasion or air attack; most notably USS Ponce (LST-743) moored offshore at Howland Island while her sister ship USS Quonset Point (LST-755) towed her downriver for assembly at Naval Air Station Evergreen Field on Longboat Key before being discharged back into open water off Key Largo on September 25th 1945.
