Today's economy revolves around agriculture which employs about 60% of Cocoa's workforce; however this sector will likely lose its foothold as more businesses move into nearby malls or downtown areas during upcoming years because agricultural production has not been able to keep up with new technological advances such as GMO crops or fracking
