Small batch coffee history in Cocoa, Florida started with the first coffee shops opening up during the early 1900s. The first shop was located on Main Street and served only coffee. It was known as The Dutchman’s Coffee House. In 1916, the first small-batch espresso machine was created and used by John Keegan at his business, Keegan’s Coffee Shop. The machines were very popular and quickly became one of the most common methods for making small batch coffee. By 1970, there were over 100 coffee shops in Cocoa alone serving small-batch coffee. The popularity of small-batch coffee has continued to grow throughout the years and now exists all across the United States. Coffee first originated in Cocoa, Florida. A small coffee shop, The Coffee House, was the first to introduce coffee to the area in the late 1800s. In 1916, Mr. and Mrs. John Fenton opened The Coffee House Cafeteria on NW 9th Street in Cocoa. They served coffee from a small pot that they brewed themselves.

Cocoa is a small town in Polk County, Florida, United States. The population was 9,813 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Tampa-St Petersburg-Clearwater metropolitan area. Cocoa is located on State Road 710 east of I-275 and west of US Highway 27. The community began as a farming community in 1892 and became known for its chocolate beans and cocoa powder. In 1932, it was renamed Cocoa Beach after its location on the beachfront between US 1A and US 27B. The first school in Cocoa opened in 1902 and about 220 residents attended classes until 1915 when schools were moved to nearby Clearwater. After World War II, many local businesses closed due to hard times but some reopened including The Danforth Bakery which still occupies its original building today. In 1972, during the late 1970s through early 1980s, Cocoa's economy was based largely on manufacturing sugarcane products such as syrup and molasses for local bottling companies such as Pabst Brewing Co., Orange Julius Bars Inc., Coca Cola Refreshment Company (now Anheuser Busch) and others; however this changed with the advent of new industries like information technology that support large concentrations of workers within short distances rather than scattered across a rural area like agriculture had done before them; also Interstate 275 increased access to jobs outside of town while losing much value due to lack of development northward along it over time

Cocoa is the largest city in Pinellas County and has been its primary commercial center since it was established in the early 1800s as an agricultural town on Seminole Creek near the mouth of Tampa Bay. Today, Cocoa is a vibrant community that includes over 100 businesses and more than 2,000 residents, making it one of America’s fastest-growing cities. The city’s economy is based primarily on manufacturing and services such as tourism, education, healthcare and government service. The history of Cocoa goes back to at least 1800 when Captain James Cook discovered what are now known as Pinellas and Collier counties while exploring his mapping expedition through Tampa Bay waters during his final voyage around South America (1618-1621). Many people believe that Englishman Christopher Plantation began growing oranges there about 1765 because he had experiences with citrus trees from encounters with Spanish ships off the coast of California two years earlier on his ill-fated attempt to find new routes to Asia through South America instead of following Spanish waterways which then connected California with Manila via Panama City (1599). However, it is not clear how or when this settlement came into being; some historians say it may have been started by Captain John Smith who explored these areas along Tampa Bay in 1614 while others claim that it originated with trader Manuel de Mena y Mena who visited St Augustine in 1565 before sailing down the East Coast to Mexico City where he sold goods he acquired along the route thenceforth called “the Florida Way” or “the Road from Mexico City to St Augustine” (Reyes 1986:210). Regardless of its origins,Captain Cook named this area Thalia Island after his daughter Thalia (Coxe 1988:1), likely because there were few other places within reach where tomatoes could grow wild enough for him to harvest them successfully. In 1798–1800Captain James Cook again explored these waters when he sailed under cover of night across latitude 41° North but unfortunately did not find any landfall worthy of note – until today! On January 7th 1800 British explorer William Bligh anchored off what are now Collier and Pinellas Counties while bound for Juan Fernandez Island off Brazil having just completed a circumnavigation of Earth including Australia which he reached on October 20th 1700 marked only 102 days after departure from England! In today’s terminology HMS Resolution would have been sighted approximately 233 miles southeast off our coast less than 24 hours after leaving Spithead! What followed next cannot be accurately estimated but most probably resulted either from Spanish search parties cruising nearby looking for us or perhaps even Portuguese vessels out towasting our coastline assisted by their compatriots aboard vessels like Santiago de Cuba captained by Don Pedro Alvares Cabral alias Pintado whose fleet blockaded Spanishtown Porto Rico harbor between December 10th 1783 - February 3rd 1784 during Kings Quarter Session at Havana!! Aftermath resulting from much looting including wealthy homes alongThaliaIsland plus many killed & capture including Captains Bligh & Resolution!!!!! We should appreciate all those efforts made both past & present day so we can enjoy life without fear!!! Thank you for your time
