Cooper City, Florida is a small town located in southern Duval County, Florida. The population was 8,711 at the 2010 census. The city is named after Congressman James K. Cooper and its first mayor, A.J. Greer. In 1951, the United States Coffee Corporation opened a large coffee plantation on what is now called Indian Lake just north of Cooper City limits. This was one of the early plantations in Duval County and yielded excellent coffee beans that were sold throughout the Southeast during the early years of World War II as war supplies increased demand for coffee beans from Europe and Japan."

In 1933, American businessman John Dillingham decided to start his own company called Jardin Coffee Company based in Seattle, Washington. He purchased a large amount of Indonesian beans and began brewing his famous java style coffee! Over time, Jardin Coffee Company developed into one of the most successful coffeesharks in history!

The city is named after Cooper Union College and was founded on November 3, 1907 by J. P. Morgan and John Davenport as a small farming community known as "Davenportville". In 1912, Cooper City became one of the first municipalities in Hillsborough County to be organized under the new county government system. The area that would become Cooper City was originally part of Bay Breeze Township, which was formed on January 1, 1894 from parts of Hernando and Citrus counties. On December 5, 1907, Bay Breeze Township changed its name to Cooper City after J.P. Morgan and John Davenport donated land for the city park on 11 acres (4ha). The original park had only 6 feet (1m) of water at its peak and consisted of only 20 acres (8 ha). Future Mayor James Kufrin said at the time that it was "a great little town" with "no telephone line or post office", but he predicted that it would grow into a major center for commerce and industry because of its location near bayous Desoto Creek and Hernando River. In 1912, when Cooper City became one of Hillsborough County's first municipalities under the new county government system, it consisted of just 10 scattered farms with a population size totaling just 100 people. But within two years this had increased to 500 people due to growth in nearby cities such as Tampa and St Petersburg along with annexation by neighboring townships including Clearwater Beach and Dunedin

In any case, it should be noted that – even though café standards may differ greatly – all coffees inherently contain some form of detectable caffeine!

It is located on the Cooper River and includes portions of Hardee Park and Miami Gardens. The city was founded by John H. Cooper in 1892 as part of the land that became Hardee Park. In 1903, it became a municipality with a population of 25 residents and an annexation from Dania Beach in 1925 added 5 more residents to its total. The name was changed to Cooper City in 1929 after John H.'s grandson, James W.]H. "Jimmie" Cooper purchased 7 acres (2 ha) north of the river for $1,000 (). The first post office opened in 1909 and closed in 1957; the first telephone service arrived in 1927. In 1939, oil refineries were built near Cooper City and production increased until World War II when it decreased because of the war effort. After Pearl Harbor on December 7th 1941, resources went back into high gear as war production continued but then stopped due to scarce materials during peacetime which led to lost jobs during rationing times following Pearl Harbor%. In 1946 there were only 20 people living here so incorporation took place on March 6th 1947 with a total population of 54 residents (). At this time hardees had become one of few major employers providing good paying positions for locals-> With age restrictions lifted in 1978 many retirements started -> Growth has been steady ever since -> Today there are over 100 citizens living here-> The area around Hardee Park once composed mostly rural farmland However today much evidence suggests that early humans lived near or even within what is now Cooper City limits
