The economy of CrestVIEW has been diversified since its early days with agriculture being the mainstay until recently; however, recent years have seen some growth in businesses such as manufacturing (including BAE Systems) and retail services (such as Foot Locker). In 2013/14, CrestVIEW reported sales of $9 million dollars which is up from $7 million that year before Hurricane Irma struck; this caused some temporary job losses but also increased production due to increased demand from area businesses who were using materials that were unavailable locally due to damage done by Irma

The first unit of this new national guard was made up of 2,500 men from New York City and Philadelphia. The purpose of the National Guard was to protect America’s borders and insure its independence. On December 25th, 1945, members of the U.S. military were ordered to withdraw from Japan after months of fighting against Japanese troops only to find out that Japan had already surrendered! This omission cost many lives and caused great grief for those who did serve our country during those difficult times. However, thanks to Jim Thorpe’s heroic act on Christmas Day 1945, all may finally be forgiven; Thorpe received full military honors posthumously instead of being forgotten like so many other servicemen and women who have passed away too soon because Congress didn’t take action back then!
