In 1909, cavalry captain Harry W Dixon donated land on which a new armory would be built. Construction began on October 5th of that year and finished on November 8th of that year. The armory became known as "Dixon Arsenal" after Captain Dixon's donation. It served as a garrison for troops stationed in Palm Beach County until 1942 when it was transferred to Fort Pierce Naval Air Station where it remains today! Today, Cutler Bay is home to two Army arsenals- one located inside of Palm Beach County Government Center (formerly known as "Dixon Arsenal") while another is located outside of town near Fort Pierce Naval Air Station (Pinecastle Armament Museum). These arsenals provide significant support to local businesses while also providing educational opportunities for children across central Florida!

Cutler Bay is a small town located in Polk County, Florida. The population was 1,811 as of the 2010 census. Cutler Bay is named after Captain George Cutter and his crew who discovered the bay in 1795. It was founded by General James Wilkinson and his wife Elizabeth Keyes Wilkinson on November 3, 1837. The town was incorporated on December 12, 1907. The Cutler Bay area has been inhabited by various cultures for thousands of years. The first European to visit the area was Captain George Cutter who discovered it in 1795 during his voyage from Havana, Cuba to St. Augustine, Florida. He noted that the bay contained "a rich bottom full of all sorts of fowl." In 1837, General James Wilkinson purchased land around the bay and began to build a settlement named Cutler Bay on it as a place where he could retail goods he had acquired from Spain in Latin America. He also built a tavern which became known as the White House Tavern later renamed the Cutlerbay Inn after him and his wife Elizabeth Keyes Wilkinson. The town gradually grew around this business until it reached its current size in 1907 when it annexed neighboring towns such as Winter Garden and Live Oak Cove. In 1935, Cutler Bay constructed its own school system which remains operational today with over 2200 students grades K-12th grade combined from across Polk County including CutlerBay Elementary School District #1 (established 1923), CutlerBay Middle School District #2 (established 1929), CutlerBay High School District #3 (established 1941). Additionally, there are six other elementary schools within Polk County operated by county districts: Apollo Beach; Belle Glade; Bradenton; Clearwater; Dunedin; Hialeah Gardens; Kendallville; Lakeland Hills; Marianna Heights/Boca Raton Highlands/Pinecrest Lakeside Village/Largo Vista Manor/Oak Ridge Manor/Vista Del Mar Villageschools Cutler Bay's unique history includes being home to both two world wars due to its strategic location at Naval Air Station Long Beach – one of four naval air stations open during World War II – and hosting numerous air shows throughout the years including those held at NAS LBI Airport beginning in 1949 through 2013 under management by then-Mayor Art Bourgeois In recent years, Cutler Bay has experienced an increase in development with several new businesses opening up along with many homes being erected within walking distance of most businesses making it an increasingly vibrant community
