Joe's was one of the first businesses to sell pre ground coffee. At its peak, Joe's served over 20,000 cups of coffee every day! In the 1940s, a new family opened up shop called The Bean Pot located on State Road 361 near US 1. The Bean Pot offered customers fresh roasted coffees and baked goods from their own ovens! Eventually, other businesses followed suit and started serving small batches of coffee at various locations across town.
