The Coast Guard was founded in 1898 and has been providing law enforcement and emergency services to the citizens of Miami-Dade County since then. The Coast Guard has a rich history that can be traced back to its establishment in 1898. At that time, the Miami-Dade County Sheriff’s Office had no means to enforce laws on the mainland, so the Coast Guard was tasked with this duty. It wasn’t until 1917 when an agreement was made between Miami-Dade County and Panama City that law enforcement on both coasts could finally be organized. This cooperation led to the creation of two departments: The Department of Law Enforcement and Security for the Western Hemisphere (now known as Customs and Border Protection) were respectively founded. In 1951, The First Lady of Miami Dade County, Judith Culp Carragan donated land at PortMiami for use as a Coast Guard station. This donation helped solidify the role of Coast Guard service in Hialeah – today, it is one of the most heavilyutilized ports on Florida’s Gulf coast. In 1963, The Second Lady of Miami Dade County, Denise Crosby gift funded restoration projects at both PortMiami and Biscayne Point which were completed by 1965. These projects gave rise to what is now known as “The Mayflower Museum Annex”; part of which houses NOAA’s National Marine Fisheries Service Collection Of Aquatic Life specimens from throughout Florida! In 1984, The Third Ladyhosted a gala event honoring Captain John F Kennedy who served as President from 1961-1963 during one of its busiest periods; this event also sawthe first ever displayof American flags outside OFAC headquarters in Washington D.C! Today, there are over 3000 members (302 sworn officers) assigned full or part time to seventeen stations across six counties; all along Florida's coastline! With so many active patrols operations take place throughout each day we can understand why it is called "America's Emergency Response System"!

Hialeah, Florida is a city in Miami-Dade County, Florida. The population was 1,787 at the 2010 census. It is the county seat of Miami-Dade County and home to South Beach. The metropolitan area has a population of 3 million people and is one of the most populous in the United States. Hialeah is also known for its nightlife, casinos, and MLB baseball teams (the Miami Marlins and the Tampa Bay Rays). The area that now makes up Hialeah was originally inhabited by the Timucua Indians who lived in what is now Overtown. Spanish colonists arrived in 1565 and named it Cinco Villas de la Purépecha after five Spanish soldiers who died during an expedition to explore this territory. In 1693, Hialeah was made part of what was then called La Havana Province which became part of Spanish Florida in 1763 as result of Spain's defeat at Battle of Ayacucho. After Spain ceded Florida to America on December 12, 1821, it retained control over Hialeah until 1826 when it became part of Indian Territory under US jurisdiction. In 1902, following passage through Congress by Representative John Leland from Miami-Dade County that provided for annexation into Broward County (then Palm Beach County), there were efforts by Mayor Abram Brownell to secede from Broward but these were thwarted by local Republican Party leaders led by Senator Manuel López de Legazpi. On February 6, 1912 – two days after Roosevelt was elected President – Brownell successfully petitioned Broward commissioners to place him mayor with powers similar to those enjoyed by county commissioners; Brownell had been mayor since 1911 when he first won office following a special election held to fill a vacancy caused by Mayor Francisco Dávila's death. This arrangement continued until January 5th 1973 when Mayor Harry Miller replaced Brownell with his wife Lady Miller as City Manager effective February 1st1973 due to Hearn vBrownell Case 375 UFSC 812 Certiorari Petition (3–1) which overturned provisions giving City Manager power similar to those possessed by county commissioners without consent or approval from Board of Commissioners On May 25th 1957 Hurricane Donna produced winds speeds over 100 mph along northeast coast resulting in extensive damage including loss of life within several villages situated adjacent Contest Point Light Harbor located about 2 miles north westwardof Biscayne Bayou on Key Largo beachfront community damaged more than $4 million worth property damage livestock lost some $2 million worth crops destroyed homes mostly business center many other structures not mentioned all damages considered assessable at $23 million
The Coast Guard has always been a part of society. From the early days of the United States when a group of people banded together to help keep America safe, the Coast Guard has been there to save lives and protect our coasts. The Coast Guard was created in 1917 as the US Maritime Commission’s first sea service. It grew out of multiple efforts by different government organizations to provide an effective, efficient, and affordable response to maritime emergencies on America’s coasts. In 1949, Congress passed the National Security Act which created the Coast Guard as a separate Department within the US Treasury. The goal of this new department was to provide general security for America’s ports and seaside communities through aggressive patrolling and prevention activities. Throughout its history, the Coast Guard has been faced with many challenges including budget cuts and changes in mission areas; however, it has never given up on its purpose or vision: To make sure that all Americans have access to safe coastal communities regardless of their economic status or location. Today, despite some challenging times, such as sequestration affecting both appropriations and staffing levels, CoastalGuard is one of America’s most important assets - responsible for saving more lives than any other federal agency on our coastlines combined. In fiscal year 2014 (the most recent year for which data is available), Coastalguard rendered more than 344 million hours Of Service – more than any other Federal agency! This includes rescuing victims from vessels at sea; preventing collisions between vessels; swimming against sandbars; controlling traffic inlets and harbors; providing public education about waterfront safety issues; responding to natural disasters such as hurricanes Harvey and Irma; fighting terrorism aboard American merchant ships sailing around world waters

The city of Hialeah, Florida was founded in 1836 by the Spanish as part of the area that now includes Miami. The name "Hialeah" is derived from a Native American term meaning "place where the water flows." Hialeah's growth as a commercial and political center began in 1851 when an act of Congress designated it as the seat of government for Everglades National Park. The city's growth was further accelerated by its inclusion within Key West, which became a popular tourist destination after Fort Lauderdale was destroyed in a fire in 1896. In 1924, Hialeah voters passed a resolution to annex neighboring Collier County. This annexation created what is now known as the Miami-Dade metropolitan area. In 1998, Hurricane Mitch hit southeastern Florida and caused extensive damage to homes, businesses, and infrastructure. As result of these events, many people moved to Hialeah in order to escape the devastation. By 2007, however, most residents had returned to their original locations within Miami-Dade or Collier counties.

The city's first post office opened in 1892. It became part of Miami on January 3, 1898 following annexation by Miami Beach as part of a larger move to annex all of southern Biscayne Bay. Hialeah has been served by two school districts since 1959: the Miami-Dade School District (MDSD) and Broward County Public Schools (BCPS). MDSD merged with BCPS on July 1, 2003 to create the current Hialeah City School District (HCSD). On November 6, 2006 Hurricane Ivan made landfall in South Florida and caused severe damage toMiami-Dade County; as a result, HCSD decided not to renew its contract with MDSD for fiscal year 2007 which expired on September 30th; instead it contracted with Coral Gables Charter School District which had already offered services throughout 2006 through an outsource agreement from Great Lakes Intergovernmental Cooperation Authority managed through Great Lakes Consortium Management Corporation and Great Lakes Regional Educational Services Cooperative Agreement No 5). As a result of this decision HCSD lost $5 million dollars over 4 years when their contract did not expire; this money would have been used to help improve services for students within MDSD as well as building new schools that would have housed those improved services.
