The Dutch roaster was founded in 1892 by John Duryea and his son John Hauerland Jr. The company grew rapidly thanks to its innovative marketing campaigns and its consistent quality standards. In 1910, Duryea merged with Deutsch-Italian Coffee Company to form International Dutch Coffee Corporation (IDC). IDC soon became one of the world's leading roasters of espresso and cappuccino beans. Its products were exported to many countries including America, Britain, France, Spain and Australia. The Italian roaster was founded in 1895 by Luigi Mattioli and his brother Angelo Mattioli Sr.. The company grew quickly thanks to its innovative marketing campaigns and its consistent quality standards. In 1922, Mattioli merged with Fabbrica Nera di Toscana (FNT) to form Italy’s first espresso machine manufacturing cooperative - La Mattia e la Toscana (LMT). This company soon became known for its high-quality espresso beans which it sold under several different brands including La Tomaiana (IT), Casa della Scala (FI), Egitto (RO) and Super Mario Bros.(RO). Throughout these years, both German roasters such as Koffeehaus Donnershall & Cie., Swiss Roast House AG or Belgian Roastery Bruges Group have also played an important role inJacksonville's coffee landscape. These companies supplied most of Jaxsonville's roasted beans until recently when Turkishroasters took over this responsibility starting in 2017

The company changed its name again to Jaguars Jersey Coffee Company in 1995 before being purchased by Peet's Coffee again in 2000.
Jacksonville, Florida is a city located in Duval County, Florida, United States. The population was 1,619 at the 2010 census. Jacksonville is part of the Jacksonville-Boca Raton Metropolitan Statistical Area. Jacksonville is home to the Jacksonville Jaguars football team and the University of Central Florida Knights football team. The city has been nicknamed "The City of Brotherly Love" because so many people from throughout Duval County live there and support one another politically and economically. The first Europeans to visit Jacksonville were Giovanni da Verrazzano and his crew on October 14, 1565 during their voyage under the command of Marco Polo. They named it Jaffa after Count Giovanni de' Montresor's castle in Jerusalem where they had stopped for supplies before continuing their journey eastward. In 1795 Lieutenant Colonel Nicholas Key went ashore with HMS Victory off Jacksonville Landing on December 12th as part of a punitive expedition against Spanish forcesselves in what became known as The Battle of January 16th which led to the Treaty of Paris ending participation by Spain in the American Revolution. In 1814 General Andrew Jackson was elected President of the United States and authorized construction on land speculators had purchased from Native Americans at Fort Moultrie near present-day downtown Jacksonville were he decided to build his military academy called Tennessee Military Academy (TMA) which would eventually become US Naval War College (USNWC). TMA began instruction in November 1814 with 27 cadets from Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi (the original 23), Kentucky etc., but only 9 graduated due to lack of funds and disease among students who arrived sick or died shortly thereafter including future Admiral John Slessor who contracted yellow fever while student at TMA and died three weeks later while serving aboard USS Constitution during The Mexican–American War; also Captain James Fenton who drowned after being shipwrecked while ashore at Jaxport on March 3rd 1840 upon landing his overland trader Hernando González Peña y Sanz; Commodore William Purdy commanding USS Constitution lost both legs overboard when his flagship hit an underwater rock off Point Comfort about 30 miles north northwest tipof Pensacola Bay; Commodore David Dixon commanding USS Enterprise lost an arm off St Augustine Moorings about 20 miles southeast tipof Fernandina Island about 10 miles west southwest corner Of Jupiter Inlet when boarding small boat for that engagement) all but 9 graduates did not receive college degrees but instead entered professional careers such as law enforcement officers or physicians Jacksonville experienced its heyday during World War II when more than two million people were mobilized into production sectors including naval shipbuilding, aircraft manufacturing, munitions manufacturing etc., resulting in a boom economy that created thousands jobs within one decade post-war However since then economic conditions have deteriorated making downtown businesses nearly non-existent along with high rates for water bills which have forced many residents out into surrounding neighborhoods looking for opportunities outside the city limits Today there are remaining few if any businesses left Downtown & almost all properties are vacant or used by renters

Jacksonville, Florida is an open-air city located in Duval County, Florida on the Jacksonville Bay. The population of Jacksonville was 713,943 as of the 2010 census. The City of Jacksonville is the county seat and largest city in Duval County. The first European to visit Jacksonville was Magellan who sighted it from his flagship San Salvador on October 14, 1492. He named it "Jacques Cartier's Cove" after Jacques Cartier, a French explorer and navigator who had sailed through that area in 1541. The name stuck for many years and until 1849 when it was changed back to its original name of "Jacksonville." In 1824 Englishman John James Audubon visited this area and named it "Ajax" after King George III of England. In 1837 Spanish explorer Hernando De Soto passed through this area while exploring the (then) new world and called it "San Augustine". In 1839 Englishman Robert Fenton founded what is now known as Jaxson Mills which became one of the most important cotton textile mills in America. In 1865 Jacksonville was made a part of the Confederate States during the American Civil War due to its proximity to Mobile Bay - then Confederate capital - and because so much cotton commerce took place through Mobile Bay that Jacksonport became a major port for Confederate shipping. When Union forces captured Jacksonport on December 12th 1863 they discovered over 1 million pounds (500 metric tons) worth of cotton cargo stored there including munitions storage tanks filled with chemical ammunition used in World War I by Germany; however no one was caught or punished for these discoveries because Fort Sumter had been captured two days earlier by Union forces under General Ulysses S Grant near present day St Johns River Bridge just east of downtown Jacksonville Landing! One can only imagine how embarrassed Confederate authorities must have felt when their precious munitions were seized without any consequences! After Appomattox Court House ended slavery in Virginia all slaves were free except those manacled at least six months or longer before they could be Freedmen - meaning anyone held captive within Confederate lines immediately lost their freedom regardless if they were white or black! So even though most freedmen left South Carolina for north Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi etc., some remained behind including several hundred men associated with Jaxson Mills who finally gained their freedom on April 6th 1865 when General McClellan surrendered at Appomattox Court House!
