They named their business “Siltansen” after their father, Silta (pronounced Silvana). In 1912, the Siltanens opened a second small batch coffee shop called “Nelson Coffee” on NE 359th Street. Nelson Coffee continued to serve small batches of coffee until it closed in 1975. In 1977, the first Starbucks opened its doors in Jupiter. Starbucks started out as a single-location store but soon open up stores all over the United States. Today, Starbucks has more than 100 locations worldwide. Jupiter, Florida is a small town located in Polk County, Florida. The population was 5,792 as of the 2010 census. It is part of the Jacksonville metropolitan area. Jupiter is known for its large number of freshwater shrimp and crayfish ponds and for its annual cattle show that features chuckwagon cookoffs. Jupiter was founded by parents who decided to move from New York City to a small farming community in Polk County in 1887. The first post office opened in 1888, and the township was organized on December 4, 1889. In 1905, Jupiter incorporated as a municipality with a population of 527. After years of growth and development, the township became an unincorporated community on November 15, 1951 when it merged into Jupiter Township. The village of Jupiter had a population of just over 100 residents as late as 1950 but grew quickly due to its proximity to Jacksonville and its natural resources including shrimp ponds and wetlands which supplied water for many homes and businesses in the early 20th century There are still few traces remaining today of what once thrived here; however some reminders can be found at the nearby Jennings Shrimp Farm Museum which closed down in 2006 but still includes exhibits about local shrimp production The museum also contains an exhibit about life during World War II with displays about military barracks near town where people were forced to work

Jupiter, Florida is a small town located in Miami-Dade County, Florida. The population was 2,564 at the 2010 census. It is part of theMiami-Fort Lauderdale-Pompano Beach Metropolitan Statistical Area. The Town of Jupiter was founded in 1907 by Hernando Ponce de León and his family as a citrus farming community on an island in Biscayne Bay. The name "Jupiter" was chosen because it sounded similar to the Latin word for sun or sky. The original residents were Spaniards who arrived in 1763 during the Spanish Inquisition and named their settlement after one of their number, Jupiter, who had been sent to help them resist English control. In 1912, Jovem Marcelino leased land from Avelino Banister to build a school and greenhouse on which he conducted experiments with vegetables and fruits. In 1916, he sold his interest in the school and greenhouse to George Wojtyla for $1,500 cash. Wojtyla used the money to purchase land north of Jupiter where he built a large agricultural complex that included four surveyors' huts and two mills. He also built a church and installed electricity for local farmers. In 1921, Prime Minister Borden announced plans for Miami's annexation into New York City; Jacksonville wanted to remain unincorporated. The city council voted 3-2 against annexation but Mayor Manuel Diaz ordered Jovem Marcelino to establish contact with New Yorkers so they could protect their interests should Jacksonville become incorporated into New York City again. Jovem Marcelino failed to make contact with New Yorkers until 1923 when he met them at an international exposition in Havana while on vacation with his wife Doña Lupe Valdez (née Crespi). Upon returning home from Cuba, Jovem Marcelino organized a group of Cuban expatriates who bought 1/3 of all shares outstanding in the town of Jupiter for $4 per share (equivalent to $140 million today). They renamed the town Coral Gables after Bebe Longoria's childhood home near Tampa International Airport which she purchased back from her former husband Roberto Clemente for $10 million dollars in 1995 before selling it again several years later for about $36 million dollars including 9% mortgages on it On December 12th 1941 - days before America surrendered unconditionally to Japan - Jovem Marcelino convened a meeting at his house involving representatives from various towns across South Florida under threat of incorporation into Tokyo if they did not support Japan's military expansionism When Japan attacked Pearl Harbor on December 7th 1941 - resulting in America becoming World War II ally - most Floridians chose notto fight because they believed that America would eventually side with Japan over Germany After America entered World War II as an Allied country JovemMarcelino lobbied hard within government circles unsuccessfully trying get Floridian citizens registered as conscientiousobjectors so they could avoid combatant service Postwar growth led to increased development around downtown Jupiter including apartment complexes developments by Jackson Square Management Corporation (later known as Iacocca Way), shopping malls such as Gulfstream Park Shopping Center east of Iacocca Boulevard between US 1A & US 1B , new housing developments such as Suncoast Village off US 441 & US 27A just east of Iacocca Blvd., new professional businesses like ABC Pastry laboratories west off Iacocca Blvd., Interstate 95 access from downtown through airport terminals w/restrooms &acioctomy services available
