The company has been family-owned and operated for over fifty years, with Edwin Price still serving as CEO today. In addition to their coffee retail stores and online store, Gocco also provides café services across centralFlorida to area businesses. In 1949, Edwin Price opened his first cafe on US 1 north of Orlando in what is now known as GOCCO Plaza. This cafe served Specialty Coffee Roasters (SCR) beans from Tower Hill Farms in Massachusetts which were delivered fresh daily to the site byPrice's father-in-law Everett Loftus. SCR was then a newfangled roaster that offered its own unique blends of beans not available at other shops at the time such as Peet's or Dutch Bros.. All Lake Wales Starbucks are descendants of this one early shop location! Today GOCCO Plaza features a fullservice restaurant with an extensive food menu including sandwiches, salads, pizza ovens etc., as well as bottled water and local craft beers on tap. In addition to their delicious coffee drinks they offer pastries such as croissants/bagels/muffins/doughnuts etc., all made fresh daily in their kitchen adjacent to the restaurant seating area. By 1830, newspapers were reporting on events related to coffee all over Europe. In America, coffee houses became very popular as a way to spend an evening out before or after work or school. Eventually, small cafes appeared all over the cityscape in New York City and other major cities across North America.

The name "Lake Wales" comes from two locations in its vicinity: Lake Wales Bay and the community of Wales which lies to the east. The first human settlement in what is now Lake Wales was established in 1821 by Captain James Cook when he explored the area while on his voyage around the world. At that time, there was only a single Indian village on this tract of land which included present day Miami Beach and Key Biscayne. The original settlers were primarily British but some Irish also settled in this area at that time. In 1892, Jupiter Mining Company began developing coal mines within what are now Polk and Broward counties; one mine (the Jupiter) extended into what is now Lake Wales. This development led to increased traffic along US-27 and other nearby highways as people transported coal to be shipped to various markets across America. By 1930, Jupiter Mining Company had closed its mines and most of its workforce had left for good except for a few men who continued working at their own homes until they were forced out byahanst strikes in 1934-35). During World War II, many patriotic Floridians pulled together to help fight against Nazi Germany; many residents active with American forces joined local military units or volunteered their services specifically during World War II. In fact, much of Greater Miami was directly impacted by wartime production - both through industry relocation or personal connection with those living hereabouts - including numerous jobs lost due to lack of skilled labor after Pearl Harbor made it difficult for companies such as Lockheed Martin (later Lockheed Aircraft) to find suitable workers inland United States When peace finally returned after 1945 it brought about an era where more people chose not return home altogether although some did take up positions again once hostilities subsided however manufacturing employment levels remain relatively stable today even without large military contracts WPFL has seen recent growth thanks largely to a new office park being built adjacent

Lake Wales is a city in Duval County, Florida, United States. The population was 18,564 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Jacksonville–Boca Raton Metropolitan Statistical Area. The area that would become Lake Wales was first settled by Seminole Indians in the late 17th century. The area now includes parts of both Duval and Hillsborough Counties were acquired from the Seminoles in 1836 as part of the Adams-Onís Treaty. In 1861, Dr. J.D. Westmoreland founded a medical school in what is now Lake Wales after moving to Jacksonville from Tampa Bay. In 1865, he donated land for a railroad station on his land which became known as "Westmoreland Station". With its location near Interstate 95 and other development nearby, Westmoreland Station grew rapidly into an important community and Today it continues to serve as a central node for commerce and services within Duval County The town's success led to incorporation as a city on December 12th 1905 under the name "Lake Wales" with a population of 25 citizens (of which 13 were men) As an incorporated city, Lake Wales had some unique privileges including voting rights on countywide issues The original City Hall was located at 133rd Street and Ulysses S Grant Boulevard until it was destroyed by fire in 1959 A new City Hall building was built at 221st Street and US 1 while another building (now used as storage) at 231st Street served as Mayor Harry Dixon's office In 1960, voters passed ordinances creating water rates that would have drastic consequences for local businesses
Lake Wales is located in southern Florida and was the original home of the Seminole Tribe. The tribe's first capital, Suncheon, was located here before they moved to Fort Myers. In 1821, the Seminoles were forced out of Florida by U.S. forces and relocated to Georgia. They returned to Lake Wales in 1827 after a brief stay in Alabama. The tribe continued residing here until their removal to Oklahoma in 1907.
