Naval warships continued to be used for gifting through World War I; USS Constitution Museum Museum inside New York Harbor displayed artifacts collected by Commander George Dewey during his tenure commandant at Newport News Shipbuilding & Dry Dock Company (NNSD) between 1916-1921 inclusive when he became commodore commanding task force Northwest Atlantic Squadron (NAVY). These exhibits include uniforms, equipment and weaponry from USS Constitution class battleships built between 1911-1915 while serving with Task Force 51st Fleet under Rear Admiral Ernest JONES Jr.. As part of Fleet Week festivities held every year since 1951 aboard USS Constitution Museum interior decks were opened up to allow visitors unrestricted accessto nearly everything on board including cannons and torpedoes stored undercover since World War II! A few notable exceptions are torpedo storage areas located aft behind superstructure along bulkhead #2ROWE aft bulkhead #3LOWE forward superstructure#1STAFF remained closed off until recently due to asbestos concerns...
