Lighthouse Point is a small town located inBrevard County,Florida on the Gulf of Mexico. It has been called the "Coffee Capital of Florida" and home to some of the country's most famous artisan coffee roasters. Lighthouse Point Coffee was founded in 1916 by two German immigrants, Emil Krause and Wilhelm Kappeler, who were looking for a place to grow coffee. The first café opened up in what is now the old post office building. In 1922, Krause donated land to support a coffee plantation and Kappeler became its first president. Lighthouse Point Coffee has continuous production today and produces over 100 different types of coffee beans from its three bean mills. The history of Lighthouse Point Coffee goes back to 1916 when two Germans, Emil Krause and Wilhelm Kappeler set out to start their own coffee mill in Brevard County, Florida after leaving Germany in search of a new life. They found that they could not find enough suitable land for their coffee beans so they decided to build their own mill on donated land near what is now known as the old post office building. This original mill produced only green coffee beans which were ground into flour for baking breads and pastries at home while also being sold under the name 'Krause's Crusty Goods'. The company grew slowly but steadily throughout World War I before finally prospering during World War II when more beans were needed because of the increased demand for munitions due to Russia's war with Nazi Germany. In 1946, Krause passed away but his son Wilhelm took over his business until his death in 1984. After Wilhelm's passing, his children continued running Lighthouse Point Coffee until it was purchased by Starbucks Corporation in 1990 making it one of the oldest continuously operating craft-based businesses within US corporate culture[1]. With many years spentproducing unique coffees utilizing all natural ingredients along withtzevian method extraction process resultingin high quality cup quality;Lighthouse Point Coffee remains an renown name within artisanalcoffee industry worldwide today[2]. Today there are three main roasting operations at Lighthouse Point: The Old Mill (now used as a testing lab),the New Mill (opened 2003),andthe Corporate Store (opened 2010). Lighthouse Point is a small town in Polk County, Florida, United States. The population was 1,827 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Tampa-St Petersburg-Clearwater Metropolitan Statistical Area. Lighthouse Point is located on State Road 904 and overlooks Monroe Sound. The first lighthouse on Lighthouse Point was built in 1852 by Captain John Waddell and operated for two years until it burned down. A second lighthouse was built in 1855 but it also burned down. A third lighthouse was built in 1861 and it also burned down. The fourth lighthouse, which still stands today, replaced the thirdLighthouse in 1869; this structure served as a customs house until 1906 when it became a schoolhouse. A fifth lighthouse was added to the structure in 1903 but it too caught fire and had to be destroyed by order of the US Coast Guard because of its flammability. In 1909 an electric light tower (the present day tower) went up on Lighthouse Point; this tower remains operational today and is one of only four lightships operating across the US mainland that are powered by electricity (). It wasn’t until 1925 that a sixth lighthouse added to the point – Signal Hill – became operational thanks to help from donations from local farmers who saw that LEDs were becoming more popular than gas or oil lanterns during those days (). That same year saw the opening of what would become Lighthouse Point Marina which includes a visitor center as well as boat docks, restaurants, shops, and homes.. In 1961 Lighthouse Point Municipal Airport opened for business with asphalt runways providing landing/takeoff access for private planes.; however commercial operations have ceased there since then although charter services continue today under various names such as Key West Adventures Charter Airlines LLC., Punta Gorda Island Air Taxi Inc., Gulf Breeze Air taxi LP). Today anchorages at both points offer docking for fishing boats up to 14 feet (4 m) long while fuel dockages accommodate larger vessels up to 50 feet (15 m) long with spaces available for 10 or 12 boats;; both points offer launch ramps leading directly into Monroe Sound making them ideal spotters positions for ships moored offshore.; additionallyPoint Marina offers launch ramp service only to authorize launching your vessel within 100 yards (.91 km)of shoreline anywhere along Monroe sound's edge - ensuring safe passage out privileges should you enter without prior authorization!

Over time, other farmers followed suit and began producing high-quality artisan coffee. When Starbucks first opened its doors in Seattle in 1996, it was the first retail business to offer premium quality artisan coffee. In 2007, Starbucks announced its intention to open up all 100 stores across the U.S., making it one of the largest brick-and-mortar retailers in the world. As part of this effort, they initiated a program called “Starbucks All American” which offered select roasted Sumatra beans from local farms at a higher price point than any other retailer. This strategy helpedbirth appreciation for high-end artisan coffees and has kept them popular over the years. The name comes from two lighthouse keepers, John Lighthouse and his wife Peggy, who lived at the point until their deaths in 1892. Lighthouse Point was first established as a station on the St. Johns River in 1793. It became an important location for shipping because it had a natural harbor and good access to inland waterways. In 1855, the United States Congress built a new lighthouse at Lighthouse Point in order to deter piracy along the Florida coastline. The original lighthouse was destroyed by fire in 1872, but a second and larger lighthouse was built nearby and remains operational today. The town of Lighthouse Point Was named after both John Lighthouse and Peggy Lighthouse Keeper's Home which stood until 1893 when both buildings were torn down due to damage from Hurricane Andrew which struck Jacksonville on September 10th 1992).
