The history of Lynn Haven Coffee goes back to 1892 when George Bowen founded Bowen Coffee Company in Lynn Haven, Florida. He began roasting coffee on his property and selling it from small cupcups to local businesses and residents. In 1924, George Bowen’s son, John, took over the business and continued father’s tradition of quality roastings and salesmanship. John Bowen passed away in 1988 but his family continues to run the business today with their own children – both adults and kids – working within the confines of their parent’s legacy. Today, Lynn Haven Coffee is a heritage-based company that provides customers with fresh roasted coffee beans day or week round. Lynn Haven is a small town in Garrard County, Florida, United States. The population was 1,868 at the 2000 census. It lies within the Orlando-Kissimmee-Sanford Metropolitan Statistical Area. Lynn Haven is located on U.S. Route 95 near Kissimmee and Orange Blossom Trail south of Sanford. The area now known as Lynn Haven was first settled in 1887 by Irish immigrants from County Clare who had come to America looking for a better life. After years of struggling to make a living, they built themselves a log cabin on what is now State Road 95A about two miles (3 km) east of present day Lynn Haven today's intersection with US Highway 95A/SR 935B. In 1895 local entrepreneur John Dooley purchased the land from the original settlers and began developing it into an agricultural community with stores, churches and schools. In 1923 he sold his share in the community to developer James Fenton who rechristened it Lynn Haven after his home state of Connemara, Ireland. By 1930 there were 10 homes, three churches and one school in Lynn Haven Village which had grown to include over 100 residents including farm families that farmed their own food production using milk cows and hogs that were cared for by their family members until market prices or distribution problems forced them out of business or retirement into slum lifestyles; typical rural American conditions during this time period In 1962 new zoning laws changed the character of much portions of Garrard County making farming less important than other businesses so development accelerated in much of eastern Garrard County moving away from rural backwaters such as Lynn Haven Village towards Central City (Orlando), Kissimmee, Sanford and Winter Garden areas all providing jobs for young people during post-World War II boom times as well as housing developments for middle class people displaced from cities like Cleveland and Birmingham while still maintaining some agriculture around Williamstown which provided meat products such as pork barrel hamlet - still sitting proud atop its hilltop location today facing northwesterly onto I-4 just outside downtown Orlando proper Lynn Haven has experienced some changes since then: most notably annexation by Orlando in 1965 resulting in significant change both to its demographics (now overwhelmingly white) as well as economy (the village has seen substantial job growth attributable to new dollars coming into the area through expansions at theme parks/resorts nearby) while also seeing increased crime rates due primarily to large numbers of visitors attracted by available recreation opportunities et cetera . However despite these challengesLynn haven retains many cultural features unique unto itself including its annual “Festival de la Vida” celebrating life throughout all seasons beginning on Saturday July 8th preceding Festivities begin across town starting Sunday morning July 9th featuring live music all weekend long along with a wide variety picnic/dinner items being offered for sale starting Friday evening prior thereto culminating late Saturday night when final entertainment takes place culminating Monday morning with major clean up operations

Lynn Haven is a town in Monroe County, Florida, United States. The population was 5,912 at the 2010 census. It has been part of the Jacksonville metropolitan area since 2003. The town was founded by pioneers in 1835 and named after Lynnhaven Point on Key Largo Island. In 1856, it incorporated as a village under the name of Lynnhaven then changed to its current name in 1903. The post office became a general store in 1897 and continued to serve as such until 1959 when it became an office annex for the then-new Monroe County Courthouse. The original white frame courthouse burned down on December 14, 1903, but new brick courthouse was completed and served until 1959 when it too burnt down. In 1933, Lynn Haven got its first electric streetcar service which connected downtown with the outlying villages (northwest of town) via Little Longwood Creek Valley Parkways. In 1955, there were also buses between Lynn Haven and Jacksonville; however these operations stopped by 1957 because of financial problems with the bus company owner's business ventures throughout much of that decade. By 1961 only one bus service remained: from Lyn Haven to Jacksonville using state Route 326 (now US 98). In 1990s Hurricane Hugo destroyed Main Street which spanned most of downtown including many businesses; earlier that year parts of Main Street had been reconstructed as an "eco-friendly" Millennium Pathway following a citizens' campaign spearheaded by then-Mayor Sanford Wexler After years spent planning and fundraising efforts over several decades - largely through contributions from civic groups like Habitat for Humanity - plans for what would become Lynn Haven emerged as a reality in 2003 when developer Bill Witherspoon purchased 1/2 acre (0.24 km2) of land on Old Bluff Road east of town from local farmer David Gossage for $1 million dollars . With no previous development experience other than developing small parcels near schools or churches within walking distance - or dreams of erecting something even larger - Witherspoon conceived his plan to create what would become one million dollar home community complete with two golf courses (!), tennis courts/pool complex/conference center/variety stores all within walking distance! At its launch conference on October 4th2003 more than 50 people attended – divided evenly into four committees charged with developing zoning regulations specific to this project; layout design & engineering; marketing & sales; construction management And finally funding – raised primarily through pledges both private individuals (some contributing up to $10K each!) and foundations totaling nearly $100M !! Let's take a look at some key aspects associated with this project over time...the Lynn Haven Golf Course opened July 8th 2005 ; St Andrews Episcopal Church – our Parish church located just outside town limits adjacent to golf course proper opening November 2nd 2006 followed soon thereafter by Our Lady Of Guadalupe Church – our Parish church located just inside city limits adjacent to city services lot . A totalof 56 buildings have been constructed or are currently under construction utilizing nearly 350 volunteers working day & night !! Though completion is still several years off many feel very proud about their accomplishments thus far !!
