The business was called The Coffee Spot and it served coffee from a small roasting plant located on FM 971 in Miami Shores. The Coffee Spot was founded by two friends who were looking for a place to sell their coffee. They found the right location and started serving coffee from their shop. In the early years, they only roasted one brand of coffee - Dutch Bros. That brand has since been discontinued, but the legacy of The Coffee Spot has continued to be appreciated by customers in Miami Shores and throughout the region. In the late 1990s, another small business opened up in Miami Shores - Joe's Place Coffee Company. Joe's Place was started by three friends who wanted to give people a good cup of coffee without having to go out and buy expensive beans each time they needed them. They found an old roaster property in town and started serving their own unique blend of Java Bean coffees from their shop-it still exists today! Since then, many other businesses haveopened up around Miami Shores - all offering great cups of espresso or cappuccinos from local fishermen or farmers markets! Miami Shores is a town in Miami-Dade County, Florida, United States. The population was 8,651 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Miami metropolitan area and is located on the mainland of Miami Beach. The first inhabitants of what would become Miami Shores were Seminole Indians who lived along the mouth of the Sound River. In 1835, Spanish explorer Manuel Ponce de León discovered this area and named it "Las Manchas." The town began to form in 1845 when John Covington purchased land from the Seminoles. By 1850, about 100 people lived in Miami Shores. In 1865, after local resident James Avant bought land from Ponce de León for $2 million dollars, construction began on a wharf to serve as an estuary for Freshwater Bay which became known as "Miami Shores." In 1915, Hollywood film director Clarence Brown filmed his movie "The Great White Hope" at Clearlake beach near where now stands Dolphins Stadium; this set included some scenes onshore at Miami Shores and other communities along the sound including Biscayne Bay teeming with dolphins during that time. The movie industry grew quickly here and many big names came through such as William Sweeny (the son of a boatbuilder), Roy Rogers(of Cowboy Bebop fame) and Dorothy Lamour (in her very first feature film). After World War II ended in 1945 more businesses closed down while defense contractors took over much of what had once been beacheside housing. However by 1951 there were still three small villages: PortMiami near West Kendall Boulevard; Homestead Heights near Northwest Seventh Avenue; and Sunrise Point just east of I-95 exit 11A next to Interstate 5 bridge across US 1/I-5 junction southbound). According to 2000 US Census data only 2% of residents are Hispanic or Latino making it one of Florida's most diverse areas outside Broward County proper although its demographics have changed little since then with a slight majority being white (87%) while black (13%) and Asian (6%) make up most of its population growth rate since then according to2010 census figures however some recent reports indicate that Hispanics may be increasing their representation within all racial groups percentages wise

Miami Shores is a town in Miami-Dade County, Florida, United States. The population was 28,711 at the 2010 census. It is the county seat of Miami-Dade County. The community began as part of West Miami in 1906 and was named after its location on Long Key Island. The original inhabitants of the area were "Alaska Natives" who hunted and fished in the coves around Long Key. In 1887, Dr. Jameson Dickey established a hospital on what is now Main Street in Miami Shores with help from Major General John Prentice Johnson who had just acquired the island from Cuba. By 1907, coasters were using Long Key for their summer homes and word started to spread about this beautiful place called "Shores". In 1911, Dr. Dickey donated land to make way for a municipally run school system which would eventually become Miami Beach High School. In 1928,broward county commissioners moved westward from Fort Lauderdale towards downtown and annexed much of what is now south central Broward County including parts of South Beach (then known as shantytowns). A group of businessmen decided to put up some buildings to house themselves on Indian Mound Drive off Collins Avenue north of current day 7th street NW which they christened "Mansion Beach". When Broward County Commissioners voted not to annex Coconut Grove east of Biscayne Boulevard because it would have created an even larger city than they wanted, developers responded by building all sorts of businesses along Collins Avenue including two movie theaters (the Colony Theatre and Coral Gables), three banks (JPMorgan Chase & Co., First National Bank & Trust Company, American National Bank) and several restaurants popular among expatriates such as La Scala restaurant near Congress Avenue NW and The Ritz Carlton hotel near Federal Highway SW that still provide services today including online reservations. At first signs looked good for Mansion Beach until local politicians realized they could get more mileage out of annexation by creating new municipalities with more business opportunities within their boundaries while still being able to claim property line benefits! So instead we got Mason City which became Miramar; Belle Glade which became Weston; Sunrise Gardens which became Plantation; unincorporated territory comprising much present day Kendall area including Pinellas Park beachfront; Cutler Bayou just east of modern day lane 516 NW next door to Cutler Bayou Marina& Boat Landing Resort etc etc etc………..and so on until we reached today’s “Miami Shores” located just northwest cornerof I-95 exit 168B/US 1 blinkin’ spot right off US1A
Miami Shores, Florida was founded on December 14, 1895 by the Miami brothers. The town of Miami Shores was named after Captain John A. Dade and his men who fought in the Mexican-American War. The first post office in the town was established on January 3, 1897. On February 2, 1898, Miami Shores became a city under the jurisdiction of St. Petersburg.
