Miami Springs' history is rich with coffee. The city began growing coffee beans in the late 1800s, and by the 1920s, it had become one of the most important coffee-growing areas in Florida. In 1927, Miami Springs was renamed after Antonio Brazilian Coffee Company founder Antonio Carlos Garcia. The company grew rapidly and soon owned several plantations in Miami-Dade County. By 1933, Garcia's company had established itself as a major player inFlaorga's local industry and its products were highly sought-after across the state. The 1940s were a time of great change for Miami Springs as well. Coffee production shifted to larger mills throughout Florida as World War II stopped production on many farms around the state. However, Antonio Carlos Garcia's company continued to thrive and by 1944, it had acquired additional plantations in Spanish Fort and Homestead locations in south central Flaorga. This growth allowed Garcia's company to become one of Flaorga's leading players and its products became increasingly known statewide for their quality and taste. During this time period, Antonio Carlos Garcia also developed an innovative product that would later be recognized as one of Flaorga's most famous trademarks: his Brazilian Kona coffee beans (now sold under various brand names). These beans were first developed on a plantation near Key West in the early 1900s and slowly but surely started making their way back upriver to Miami Springs where they were processed into ground coffeebeans (later again becoming known under different brands) until they finally arrived at our doorstep in the 1950s! Today, these same Colombian Kona beans are still hand-selected by our experienced roasters for their unparalleled flavor profile - ensuring that every cup of artisan Brazilian Kona coffee is unique unto itself!

The Moons started brewing their own coffee in 1984 and have since become an iconic part of the Jacksonville community. TheMoon Coffee has a rich history that goes back to 1984. Doug and Karen Moon were two friends who decided to start their own coffee shop in Jacksonville, Florida. From their first cup of Joe, they knew they wanted to create a product that would be enjoyed by all. They took their time perfecting their recipe until they had something that everyone could enjoy. This philosophy guided them through the years, and it still informs the way Moon Coffee products are made today. The name “Moon Coffee” is derived from Douglas and Karen Moon’s children’s names – moon (for light) and stars (because they believe in using natural ingredients). Miami Springs is a town in Miami-Dade County, Florida, United States. The population was 2,811 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Miami–Fort Lauderdale–Beach metropolitan area. The springs are located in Miami-Dade County and portions of Broward County. The first permanent settler in what is now Miami Springs was George Washington Wilkinson who arrived on May 3, 1828 with his family from Virginia. Wilkinson named his new land "Miami Springs" after General Washington's home state of Virginia. Wilkinson erected a log cabin here and started to cultivate corn, beans and other crops. In 1830 he built a two-story Greek Revival style house which still stands today at 6807 NW 78th Street in Miami Springs near current day Biscayne Boulevard South (Rte 815). He also had a large barn and outbuildings which were used for storage and milking cows by his tenants until about 1880 when they became known as the Wilkinson Mansion House Museum Complex visitor center features an exhibit about this period in history including photos of the original farm buildings from that time In 1834 William Housten bought Wilkinson's land from him for $4,000 US dollars Housten developed some ofWilkinson's property into small farms growing cotton, hay, potatoes and other vegetables before starting construction on what would become one of south Florida’s most famous tourist destinations – The Kendall Bay Resort & Spa. Located just outside Fort Lauderdale proper across I-95 from downtown Fort Lauderdale – east of State Road 710 – it opened its doors to guests on December 12th 1964 as one of only three places in America at that time where you could enjoy oceanfront sunbathing while staying within walking distance both inside the resort complex itself as well as enjoying beach access nearby through KendallBay Beach Park & Tennis Club which opened just days earlier on November 15th 1959 It wasn't long before word spread about this marvelous spot featuring white sand beaches perfect for swimming without worrying about getting covered or getting sick – something unheard of back then especially since there were no health resorts like there are today filled with vacation rentals along each mile long stretch of sandy beach extending all the way down to Clearwater Bay! And so it grew quickly becoming one not onlyof those iconic Palm Beach Vacation spots but also right up there with Rancho Mirage (Florida) during the early years following World War II when many people migrated to southern Florida looking for jobs during wartime shortages Since KBR didn't exist back then we can assume many people paid their bills by donating blood or giving money towards building hospitals or helping feed various soldiers stationed throughout south Floridaduring WW2 thereby making sure our community was never left impoverished postwar ! For centuries, coffee was grown and brewed by small-scale farmers who did not have access to largecommercial plantations. As more and more people started moving to cities and buying packaged coffee, these farmers had to find new ways to produce enough beans for their needs. One way they did this was by growing their own beans. Coffee began as a peasant crop, and until recently it was mostly used for drinking rather than for making food or clothing. However, with recent advances in technology andkeen taste buds, many people now enjoy some delicious cup of Joe every day! One of the first farms to grow Starbucks' famous beans was in Peru. In 1994, two Peruvian entrepreneurs decided to start a small roasting company in the city of Lima because they loved espresso but didn't have the same quality control standards as big commercial companies back then. They named their company La Colombe after one of Peru's most famous volcanoes – an idea that seemed like it would be popular at first but wasn't (due largely to perceptions about Starbucks). The next year, Starbucks made its first purchase from these Peruvian growers – 400 pounds of great tasting Ethiopian Hario Koffee Beans! The early days were tough for La Colombe; even though they were starting out with good beans, there were a lot of unknowns about how best to roast them and sell them. But through hard work and determination, they slowly began becoming better known among espresso aficionados around the world as well as entranced consumers who started visiting their shop near Central Park in Manhattan regularly! Over time La Colombe refined their methods so that today's best-quality Ethiopian Hario Koffeas are finally available on store shelves worldwide!

In 1978, the town became an incorporated municipality under the name "Miami Springs".
