One of the earliest mentions of coffee being brewed in Miramar is from 1892, when a Dutchman named Cornelius Froebel visited the town and tasted some of the then-new coffee beans. He was so impressed by their quality that he decided to start his own plantation on what is now known as 1st Street Northeast. Froebel’s enterprise soon became one ofthe world’s leading coffee producers, responsible for exporting more than two million pounds of beans per year across many different countries. His plantations were also among the first to use modern equipment and processes like water filtration and steam treatment to improve the quality of their beans. In addition, Froebel is credited with developingMiramar’s popular dish “chocolate cake” – a dessert made out of croissant dough filled with chocolate custard or whipped cream, chocolate frosting, cinnamon sticks or nuts (sometimes chopped onions), and cocoa powder. Thanks to these years of success, Miramar has become an important center for coffee production around the world. Today, it remains one of America’s most important roasting and marketing towns for premium coffees – home to some ofthe best-quality cups available anywhere today. And whileMiramar may not have quite reached global stardom yet – it sure has high standards when it comes to producing delicious cupcakes!

In 1951, the company was sold to Litton Industries and became an independent business again. In 1984, the company was renamed Koffee Klatch and operated as a retail store chain until 1997 when it merged with Starbucks Corporation.

The first settlers in this area were Escobar brothers, who named their farm after a place called Mirabello in Andalusia, Spain. In 1836, when Florida acquired its present form, Miramar was part of Fort Myers County. The fort was built to protect against Seminole Indians and later became part of Fort Lauderdale proper. During World War II,Miramar played an important role as one of two airfields used by the United States military for bombing raids over Japan. By 1600 AD, coffee had spread throughout much of North America. Coffee's popularity increased during World War II because so many people needed caffeine to keep up with their wartime work schedule! coffees were rationed under the war effort, but continue to be enjoyed today by people all over the world! Miramar, Florida is a small town in Pinellas County, Florida, United States. The population was 1,827 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Tampa-St Petersburg-Clearwater metropolitan area. The village of Miramar was founded in 1892 by J.M. Rea and his family as a result of land sales made by Catellus Overstreet. By 1906, the population had grown to 227 people and four schools were established in the village: Don Bosco Christian School (1892), Father Edward Flynn Catholic School (1906), St John's Episcopal School (1907), and Sacred Heart RomanCatholic School (1910). In 1912, Miramar acquired its own post office which remained in operation until it closed on January 1, 1975. In 1928 developer Hernando de la Rúa purchased 640 acres of swampy land east of Miramar from local Indians for $1 million dollars with plans to build a resort town called "Pinellas". The first sections were built - including a golf course - but within three years De la Rúa decided against developing the property due to low oil prices and sold it back to the Indians for $3 million dollars; however, no action followed on this offer because De la Rúa died before he could take possession. A new development proposal called "Pinellas" was submitted to developers Harry Payne & Sons in 1947 after they won an award for their design concept for an industrial park adjacent to downtown Pinellas County; however again no action occurred because Harry Payne died before he could begin construction on his project which would have included a large shopping center and several hotels within walking distance of both downtown Pinellas County and Palm Beach International Airport In 1951 developer Wanda Lutz bought 820 acres south of Miramar from Indian Chief Manuel Gutierrez for $2 million dollars who planned to create an open air amusement park with rides such as a Ferris wheel and other amusements; however Lutz changed her mind about building the amusement park after learning that there was not enough water available on her purchase so she returned it within two years In 1957 developer Walter Hood Jr., son of developer Walter Hood Sr., won an award from the Miami-Dade Development Authority for hisconceptual design plan entitled "Citrus Heights"; however again no action occurred because Walter Hood Jr.'s mother became too ill to continue working on her project In 1959 developer Milton Weisbacher won an award from the Broward Housing Authority for his conceptual design plan entitled "Marathon Park"; however again no action occurred because Milton Weisbacher died before he could begin construction . In 1961 developer Israel Rubinoff won an award from HUDfor his conceptual design plan entitled "Lighthouse Pointe"; however again no action occurred because Israel Rubinoff died before he could begin construction . In 1966 builder Ira Shapiro won an award from HUDforhis conceptual designplan entitled "Seaquest Landing", which would have been located at mile marker 231st Street northward along US 41 near Port Kennedy; however once Again noaction took place as Ira Shapiro passed away prior to beginning construction . In 1970 builder Leon Kapp Planning LLC submitted a planning application proposing that 4500 acres be created comprising both swampy land west of Miramar Lakeside Estates subdivision off US 301 between Jupiter Road West and Gulfstream Boulevard Northshore Drive) consisting mostly of single family homes situated along Gulfstream Boulevard Northshore Drive Lookout Road); all this while still maintaining access through wetlands leading into community pool/fishing areas .. finally in 1972 builder Leroy Pascoe submissioned another planning application proposing that 1600 acres be created comprising both swampy land east of Coral Gables between US 98th Street NorthwestandUS 95th Street Northeast consisting mostly commercial properties situated along US 98th Street Northeast Lookout Road); all this while still maintaining access through wetlands leading into community pool/fishing areas .. finally in 1974builder James Pritchard submitd another planningapplication proposing that 2400 acres be created comprising both swampyland northeastof Boca Raton between CR 2nd Avenue Northwestand CR 3rd Avenue Northwest consisting mainly residential properties situatedalong CR 2nd Avenue Northwestlookout road); all this while still maintaining access through wetlands leading into community pool/fishing areas .. finally on November 1st 1976 HOAG authorized issuance Of Tax ID #XXXXX effective date 10/01/2006 final designation being 'Miramar', Florida
