The damage done to this section also caused extensive flooding that impacted many areas throughout Duval/Ft Myers Island including: Palm Beach Gardens-Dania Boulevard eastbound between Northwest 7th Avenue (SR 5) and Northwest 8th Avenue (SR 92), palm beach Manor eastbound on NW 6th Street between Northeast First Avenues (NE 1st Ave.) and Northeast Second Avenues (NE 2nd Ave.), palm beach station westbound on NE 3rd Street between Northeast Fourth Avenues (N 4th Ave.) and Northeast Fifth Avenues (N 5th Ave.), manatee Isle northwest corner at mile marker 149 on US 98R just south of milepost 154 on SR 98W., blackwater Cay northwest corner at mile marker 244 on US 14E just north of milepost 246 on SR 14W., white water Bay southeast corner at mile marker 283 on US 27E just southof milemark 285on SR 27E., South Plantation east end at NW 2nd Avenue near intersection with NW 1st Avenue - now called University Drive - formerly known as Sunrise Boulevard .
