Coffee was first grown and enjoyed by the Native American people who resided in this area for centuries. In 1824, Captain John Stokes founded the town of Stuart on Pensacola Bay. At that time, coffee beans were still being brought overland from Mexico City by ship. Early Portuguese colonists also grew coffee in what is now Porto Rico. In 1795, Spanish traders discovered coffeebeans growing at Boca de Tijuca in Brazil and began importing them to Spain. By 1800, Brazilian farmers had started cultivating coffee in southeast Brazil and exporting it to Europe. Italian traders began trading with Brazil and importing coffee in the late 18th century; they soon realized that this new crop had great potential as a cash crop. Coffee became an important commercial resource for Italy until World War II when production stopped because of strategic shortages caused by bombing raids on European cities during the warring nations’ retaliation against each other’s atrocities. The first espresso machines appeared in Italy in 1830; however, they were not widely used until after 1840 when Giovanni Battista Moretti developed his espresso machine which he called “L’impresa del cappuccino (The Company of Cappuccinos). In 1850 Antonio Negri patented an improved machine called il lavavitro (the lavatory), which allowed him to produce high-quality cupcakes while using very little water compared to earlier machines. The popularity of espresso led to the opening of several small shops catering only to customers who required ground beans or capsules instead of freshly brewed tea or milk products Facing competition from other food products such as bread and milk alternatives starting about 1870, Italian restaurants turned increasingly towards selling English cupcakes made with flour and sugar rather than ground beans They continued serving ground beans up until about 1950

In 1830, a man named Samuel Bache bought the business from its original owner and started to roast coffee for sale. He also started to produce some of Milwaukee's first coffee In 1837, John Frohwirth started selling coffee beans direct from his farm in central Wisconsin. The popularity of Frohwirth's coffee led to other farmers starting their own roasting businesses. This allowed people throughout the Midwest to get their hands on high-quality Kopi Gading Coffee. The 20th century saw many advances in technology, including digital Roasting which made it possible for people all over the world to get their hands on fresh Kopi Gading Coffee without having to go through an intermediary like a retailer or distributor
Palm Coast, Florida was founded in 1795 by John Westfall. The town was named after the palm tree that stood on the original site of the current city. Palm Coast became a permanent U.S. territory in 1907 and became a state of Florida in 1959. The city is located on the Indian River Estuary, which is known for its crystal clear waters and white sand beaches. The first settlers to Palm Coast were Spanish explorers who explored the area in 1539-1540. They found many valuable resources and encountered Native American tribes who supplied them with food and weapons. In 1795, John Westfall purchased land at what is now downtown Palm Coast from the Seminole people for $2,000USD . He built a small cabin on the beach and started trading with local tribes for goods such as sugarcane, flour, hides, cattle, turtle eggs and other seafood items. A year later he opened up his own store which grew into one of the most successful businesses in town. In 1827, James Pritchett establishedPritchett's Landing onshore to serve as a base of operations for fishing trips along the Indian River Estuary. This initial landing spot would become an important trade center for coastal residents because it had good access to fresh water resources and easy access to shipping channels southward from Miami Beach
