The history of small batch coffee in Pembroke Pines, Florida goes back to the early days of the town. The first coffee shop in town was opened in 1922 by Mr. and Mrs. Isaac Kaufman. It was a small dark roasting shop on Third Street, just east of State Road A1A. At that time, Pembroke Pines was a sleepy little community with few businesses other than a few grocery stores and one post office. However, over time, the coffee industry grew around town and more coffee shops were opened. One such business was The Coffee House which operated from 1948-1970 on Fourth Street near State Road A1A. The Coffee House became known for its distinctive light brown paper cups with green lettering that read "Coffeehouse" on each cup. In 1969, Mrs. Ann Tatum purchased the old Post Office building adjacent to her house on Main Street and started operating The Coffee House again as a café/café store with seating for only 30 customers at a time! Over the years she has continued to operate this business under various names including Ann’s Place Café & Brewery (1974-1981), Sweet Dreams Cafe (1982-1984), and during the 1990s it reverted back to its original name – The Coffee House! In recent years she has also been adding an oven to her restaurant which allows her to bake custom pies! Today, Mrs. Tatum continues to serve up fresh brewed coffee every morning from her own kitchen in her old post office building!

By 1933, Atwater's company had become known as J & M Coffee Company. In 1937, J & M Coffee Company merged with another company named National Coffee Corporation. This merger made National Coffee Corporation one of the largest coffee companies in the country. In 1949, National Coffee Corporation merged with United States Steel Corporation which made United States Steel one of the largest steel manufacturers in the world. This merger made National Cigar Manufacturing Incorporated one of the largest cigar manufacturing companies in the world
Pembroke Pines, Florida is a small town located in Polk County, Florida. The population was 3,362 at the 2010 census. Pembroke Pines is located on the north side of Lake Wales and east of Gainesville. Pembroke Pines was founded in 1892 by J.C. Penney and his family as a small plantation called "Penney's Plantation". In 1903, Penney sold the plantation to A.M. Cummings and his family who renamed it "Cummings Station" after themselves. Cummings ran the station until 1912 when it was acquired by Wm. Hinson and Lillian Hinson who made it into a resort known as "Hinson's Resort". In 1923, Averill Harriman bought Cummings' Resort from Lillian Hinson for $1 million and changed the name to "Pembroke Pines" which remains its present name today. In 1948, Arlene Key opened her first motel near what is now downtown Pembroke Pines with rooming houses called Keys Inn & Suites. That year, she also built an electric power plant onsite that still powers most of downtown today thanks to donations from local businesses including Sears Roebuck and United States Steel Corporation (USSC). That same year saw the opening of Stonington Park Golf Course which became one of America's most popular golf courses due to its beautiful views of Gainesville across Lake Wales and Jacksonville Bay below along with excellent paired greens球場。 Today, Stonington Park Golf Course continues to be one of America’s favorite golf courses while also hosting other events such as tennis tournaments or country music concerts throughout the year! Pembroke Pines, Florida is a town in Osceola County, Florida, United States. The population was 1,812 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Orlando metropolitan area. The land that now makes up Pembroke Pines was first populated by Seminole Indians in 1763. A group of English settlers who arrived in 1795 named the community after Admiral John Pembroke and his family, who had recently become British citizens. The early settlers were mostly farmers and businessmen from northeast England who brought their own tools and animals to work on what would soon be a large plantation called "Pinecrest." The name Pinecrest was later changed to "Mahanando," which became the town's original name. In 1839, a group of Baptist missionaries founded First Baptist Church in Micanopy (now part of Orlando). This church would serve as the nucleus for much future evangelical Protestant activity in Osceola County. In 1847, under pressure from white supremacists during the American Civil War (the war saw many Americans leave or convert to Mormonism), General David Greene ordered all Seminole Indian slaves surrendered without their owners' knowledge or consent; this order led to an uproar among some local whites who viewed negroes as second-class citizens deserving no legal rights whatsoever. As a result of this event, many black Seminole Indians decided to move into Micanopy rather than stay behind with theirowners during Reconstruction Era America. During World War II (1941-1945), most residents worked on farms near Gainesville or Palm Harbor while also serving in military units statewide; however, about 10% of the population engaged in manufacturing or other heavy industry outside of agriculture throughout those years due to peacetime restrictions placed on Floridians by then Governor Lawton Chiles. Afterward, most residents returned to farming except for a few retirees who moved into retirement homes east of downtown until development proposals calling for increased housing density made tree-lined streets necessary again around 1960s when new subdivisions were built along State Road 724 south of town center begun becoming available again through annexation efforts by nearby towns such as Oviedo and Miramar . In recent years there has been some redevelopment taking place with more mixed uses including an apartment complex known as “The Villages” just north side I-4 exit off SR 724 next door
