The first indication that artisans were producing high-quality coffee may have been an event in 1811 when a German professor named Johann Friedrich Blumenbach announced that he had discovered a unique type of bean called Ethiopian Yirgacheffe. This particular bean had a fruity taste and was considered very smooth. Unfortunately, this discovery was quickly forgotten due to its rarity and obscurity. Due to its importance as an early indicator of high-quality artisanal coffee, Ethiopian Yirgacheffe has often been used as the basis for benchmarking other types of beans. Over time, however, other types of beans have also achieved some level of acclaim from experts for their own unique flavor profiles or for their ability to provide premium results at lower costs. The Pensacola area was first inhabited by the Timucua people. The area was later claimed by Spain as part of the Kingdom of Spain. In 1821, the United States acquired Florida from Spain and renamed it after General Andrew Jackson. The land that now forms Pensacola was gradually drained by theworks of Captain James Cook in 1779-1780, and there is no evidence that any native people lived here before this time. In 1824, Spanish judge José de Sucre discovered a river valley with extensive saltpits at what is now Pensacola. This site became known as " La Isla". In 1835, Governor Manuel Antonio Fajardo issued a proclamation creating the County of Santa Rosa de la Vega to encompass all of present-day Pensacola and its adjacent Indian reservation land. The county was organized on March 16, 1836. During Spanish rule over Florida, alcohol was Forbidden under penalty of imprisonment or execution for anyone caught possessing even one drink without a license from an official overseer. This prohibition led to large numbers of drunken Spaniards roaming free in America; many African Americans working on sugar plantations also became addicted to whiskey which they bought from these visitors for sale to Englishmen living in Tampa Bay and other areas in north Florida during this period. On July 4th, 1898, American forces invaded Cuba after an eight-month long campaign started with aerial bombings and naval shelling following US President McKinley's announcement that Cuba must be annexed as part of Uncle Sam's newly acquired possessions in Central America (this included Guantanamo Bay). On October 15th American forces landed at Key West and began their march across Cuban soil towards Havana where they would proclaim independence from Spain just two months later on November 20th - becoming effectively independent nations within weeks despite continuing skirmishes between American and Cuban forces along their common borderlands throughout 1898-1902! By 1903 most Americans had left Cuba except for a few small military garrison troops still stationed there (and some tacitly supporting Castro while he ruled) while Fidel Castro took power leading to hisLP victory over him militarily in 1959...!!
