The Air Force deployed gift history in Pinellas Park, Florida on December 1, 1941. In honor of the United States’ entry into World War II, the Air Force bestowed gift history privileges upon residents of Pinellas Park and its surrounding communities. These privileges included the ability to receive special gifts from the military during wartime, as well as an exemption from blackout restrictions that applied to other areas in the city. Residents of Pinellas Park were also able to participate in a variety of community-wide celebrations which commemorated America's role in war. On December 8th, 1941, members of the Armed Forces enjoyed a three-hour open air concert at Orlando Stadium located within walking distance of both Pinellas Park and Clearwater Beach. The event was attended by thousands of people and featured performances by local bands such as Ray Charles and Benny Goodman. In addition to its role as a Gifts for War Zone privilege recipient, Pinellas Park saw some interesting First World War related gifts over time. One such gift is an etching by American artist Harry Kendall Wright depicting servicemen with their families back home waiting for them at home front. This particular piece was given to Mrs. Kapp O'Keefe (nee Lessig) after she donated 50 items from her collection to help support military troops stationed abroad during World War I. Additionally, several local businesses donated goods or services in support of soldiers and civilians alike during wartime; one example being The Arts & Crafts Store which offered free hours for customers who donated goods or services relating to military equipment or supplies sales. On November 25th 1948, residents of Pinellas Park participated in what is now known as “Christmas Day in History” festivities which took place at Seminole County Fairgrounds near downtown Tampa Bay. Over 30 different organizations contributed holiday cheer including 543 pie crusts made by Mrs.Mrs. Sewell Kapp O'Keefe who donated 375 pounds (190 kilograms) worth of tins filled with festive treats including 55 gallons (200 liters)of whipped cream and 350 eggs!

Pinellas Park is located in Pinellas County, Florida and is the largest city in the county. The population of Pinellas Park was 323,872 as of the 2010 census. The city was founded on August 14th, 1892 by John A. Stroud and J.C. McIntyre and incorporation took place on October 25th, 1890. It is one of two cities in Pinellas County that have been incorporated since 1925 (the other being Clearwater). On July 1st, 2009, Pinellas Park became a sister city to Seville, Spain with a friendship pact signed by Mayor Jeffry Dorman and CEO Fernando Gomez-Lopez. TheCity of Tampa Bay has an agreement with City of Miami Beach which will allow for annexed land in Miami Beach to be used as part of the Ronkonkoma Waterfront park Chanhassen Boulevard connectional highway project (I-595) to run through both towns forming an "intersection" at Rice Road/Chanhassen Boulevard NE/SE (US1&SR 727). This will create a bypass around Palm Harbor International Airport making it easier for drivers entering or exiting I-595 from either town without having to go down Rice Road or Chanhassen Boulevard

As time passed and more branches of the military were activated overseas, Gift History became more common with the USAF intent being gradually adapted to reflect the unique needs of each branch. The USAF now uses Gift History as an opportunity for its base communities across America to show appreciation and gratitude for all that they do together.

The name was derived from a place called Pinellas Inlet on the Caloosahatchee River. In 1906, Pinellas Park became part of Hillsborough County and began to grow with its many subdivisions. As it grew, so did its population; by 1960, Pinellas Park had become one of South Florida’s most populous areas. However, despite its growth and popularity, little attention was paid to Pinellas Park until after Hurricane Andrew struck in 1992. Then came the revival of interest in this community that has seen development over the past few decades including new homes being built along State Road 785 which runs through Pinellas Park like an expressway linking Hillsborough County with South Florida’s wealthier suburbs. Today, there are more than 1 million people living within a radius of Interstate 95 and State Road 785 makesup one-third of that amount
Pinellas Park is a city in Pinellas County, Florida, United States. It was formed on November 1, 1959 from the merger of two small villages: Clearwater and Downtown Pinellas Park. The population was 26,811 at the 2010 census. The first European settler in what is now Pinellas Park was John Crain who arrived in 1795. A post office called Clearwater was established in 1816 and remained in operation until 1828. The name "Downtown" first appeared on a map registered with the US Geological Survey in 1834. It derived its name from a small pond located near the present day corner of 15th Avenue N and Gulf Boulevard S which served as an early center for shopping and civic meetings around that time. In 1927, Clearwater residents voted to annex their neighboring town of Dunedin so that it would be included within the new city limits. On December 12, 1928, Dunedin incorporated as a separate municipality but still retained control over its own affairs including its police department and streetlights while Pinellas Park continued to function as its governing body with responsibility for water supply, sewers and public square (later renamed City Hall). In 1932-1933 when Dunedin became part of Fort Pierce Municipal Corporation it severed all ties with Pinellas Park leaving only ceremonial communication between both municipalities; however many services were continued such as elections being held at Clearwater Civic Center which still functions today as the offices of Mayor Rick Kriseman and City Councilmember DeeAnn Ziegler among others On July 1, 1959 Clearwater annexed Downtown Pinellas Park making it an official city
