Pinellas Park is a city in Pinellas County, Florida, United States. The population was 9,569 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Tampa-St Petersburg-Clearwater Metropolitan Statistical Area. The town of Apollo Beach and its neighbor Clearwater were merged into Pinellas Park in 1959. Pinellas Park was founded by farmers in 1892 as a farming community on high ground overlooking the mouth of the St. Johns River. A post office was established in 1893, and by 1907 there were twenty businesses in the community with a population of about seventy people. Farming continued to be an important economic activity until after World War II when Tampa became more pressing commercial center with higher standards for living and fewer restrictions on land development that made it possible for developers to build large subdivisions such as Palm Bay, Sunrise Boulevard, and Gulfstream Drive within easy reach of Pinellas Park's shopping centers and schools. However, aluminum smelting and other heavy industry soon brought improved transportation links that enabled manufacturing away from Apollo Beach while new jobs created access to Interstate 4 (I-4) which connected Tampa with Jacksonville or Miami via Interstates 10 (I-10) and 12 (I-12). In 1950 construction began on what would become one of America's largest freeways when US 1/US 98 were widened from two lanes to four just south of downtown Pinellas Park concurrent with I-4/US 1 Widening Project Freeway which followed much later as both I-4/US 1 & I-10 were truncated just north of downtown before reaching their terminus near Clearwater Harbor

However, during the war, demand for coffee plummeted because of rationing ordinances set by Nazi Germany. After World War II ended, coffee reached its heyday again thanks to technological advances such as espresso machines and milk frothers which made it possible for people all over the world to enjoy this drink without having to travel too far or spend a lot of money on shipping costs. The community was founded in 1855 by Captain James Wright and his wife Fanny Wright as a trading post on the Indian River. It grew rapidly due to its location on the mouth of an estuary that led to Tampa Bay. In 1907, Pinellas Park became a municipality, and in 1925 it annexed Clearwater. Today, Pinellas Park is home to over ninety thousand residents and employs over two hundred people. The history of Pinellas Park began withCaptain James Wright who settled here in 1855. He established himself as a trader along the Indian River and quickly built up a trade monopoly. His business prospered thanks to his connections with boththe Seminole Tribe and Spanish settlers. When Captain Wright died in 1859, his wife Fanny took over his business - something that would continue for many years because women were not allowed inside traditional businesses at this time. In 1907, Captain Wright's widow Fanny married Congressman John Wetteland Sr., which helped solidify pinellas park's role as a municipally-controlled community. In 1925, Clearwater annexed into Pinellas Park creating what is now one of America's largest suburban communities based on population size only (Clearwater has around eighty thousand residents). Since then, Clearwater has seen rapid growth while pinellas park has been slowly but surely declining in population size; today there are just under ninety thousand residents living within its boundaries. While pinellas park may have lost some of its commercial appeal since annexation by Clearwater (largely due to growing populations outside its limits), it retains much of its cultural significance thanks to such institutions as the University of South Florida (USF) and Strikers Youth Academy which offer various educational opportunities for its citizens – including music education programs for young children!
