In 1961, the first BREWER'S COFFEE COMPANY was founded inPort Orange by Clarence "Keg" Kapp and his brother-in-law, Albrecht Fritsch.BREWER'S COFFEE COMPANY became one of the largest coffee retailers in Florida and nationally. The company was sold to JABBA Coffee Company Inc., a Delaware corporation, in 1984. JABBA Coffee Company (now Starbucks) continues to operate BREWER'S COFFEE COMPANY as a convenience store chain with its hometown roots intact.
Port Orange is a city in Citrus County, Florida, United States. The population was 24,417 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Orlando-Kissimmee-Daytona Metropolitan Statistical Area. The area now known as Port Orange was first settled by Seminoles in the early 1800s. In 1892, citrus growing began in what is today Port Orange and soon became one of the most important citrus markets in Florida. The growth of the industry led to development around the town and it quickly became a center for commerce and industry. Today, Port Orange remains an important community with its robust economy and vibrant culture. One of the earliest developers in Port Orange was JF Morgan who built a large cotton plantation on what is now First Street in 1887. After several years of operations, Morgan sold his land to Wm Fenton who founded Fenton & Sons Brewing Company on Second Avenue in 1890. This brewery would become one of America's largest brewing companies with production totaling more than 2 million barrels over fifty years! In 1898, two brothers named John Hargrave bought land north of downtown from Fenton & Sons Brewing Company for $1 million dollars which they used to develop their own citrus groves that would eventually produce over 20 million pounds (8 billioniliters) of fruit annually! Today these trees still stand - providing shade on warm days and delicious oranges during cold winter months! In 1903 John Hargrave donated 1/4 mile (0 kilometer) east of downtown along State Road 442 to create what would become known as Veterans Park! This park provides opportunities for education, recreation and away from home programming for locals and visitors alike! In 1915 Captain James Kapp recommended that orange juice be made available commercially as a sweetener so this popular drink could be enjoyed by people all across America! During World War I veterans were given ration cards which allowed them purchase up to 3 cans per day - making orange juice one among many American favorite dishes!. With this new market opportunity came new jobs for local individuals including truck drivers at JF Morgan’s Cotton farm where oranges were grown; electricians at General Electric plants where electrical wiring was done; jockeys working at Hollywood race tracks; porters carrying luggage up ramps at hotels; barbers cutting hair at beauty parlors....the list goes on and on! In 1937 Dr Harry Smith established Smith’s Oranges which remain one of North Florida’s leading orchards today! From here he developed other famous brands such as Maxwell House Coffee (1948), Frangelico (1955), Cherry Garcia Natural Gasoline (1960), Slurpee (1971), Sonic Drive-in Radio Service(1978). Today Edwards Oranges continues this legacy with products like Frozen Margaritas (2008), Apple Juice Concentrate (2009), Caramel Sauce (.999% ABV) and Lime Pie filling (.833% ABV)! These fruits are enjoyed all across North Florida year round!

Port Orange, Florida is a city in Monroe County, Florida, United States. The population was 2,859 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Orlando–Kissimmee–Sanford Metropolitan Statistical Area. The first settlers in what is now Port orange were African Americans who fled to Florida from Alabama during the Reconstruction era. They came by boat and on foot and built their homes along the Intracoastal Waterway. These early investors included John Witherspoon (a white British settler), his brother James Witherspoon (the son of an American slaveholder), and others from New England and Virginia. A post office was established at Port orange in 1875, and remained in operation until it was discontinued in 1907. In 1907, a group of businessmen led by J P O'Neill formed the Oranges Ferry Company to provide transportation between Key West and Jacksonville for traders transporting goods southward during the business boom years that followed World War I. In 1925, they merged with Jacksonville's First National Bank to form Jacksonville National Bank & Trust Company. The bank became one of America's leading commercial banks with assets over $1 billion as Of Counsel to JPMorgan Chase & Co., one of Wall Street's largest financial institutions at that time! In 1949, following annexation by Monroe County from Lakeland County, Oranges Ferry transported passengers across Lee-Nelson Channel on a new bridge built on Signal Hill Creek just east of present day Oranges Ferry Boulevard; this bridge facilitated continued access across Lee-Nelson Channel for those travelling between Jacksonville and Pensacola Beach throughout both Spanish US administrations which used Fort George Island as their naval base located off mainland Cuba ! The original Signal Hill Creek Bridge still stands today next to UFIS where it crossed into Monroe County prior to its merger with Flagler Beach State College in 2003! Today there are few active businesses within town limits compared to decades ago due largely to prohibition interference but also prohibitionist attitudes among many citizens
Port Orange was founded in 1837 as a small community on the Indian River. The first residents were Apalachicola Indians, who moved to the area from Mobile Bay and Pensacola. In 1840, the town was renamed for General Zachary Taylor, who had led American forces during the Mexican-American War. In 1849, Port Orange became a county seat and began to develop into a significant center of commerce and culture. The population grew rapidly in the 1850s and 1860s, reaching more than 10,000 by 1870. During the Civil War, Port Orange played an important role as a transportation hub for supplies and soldiers moving between Confederate States of America and Florida. The town was destroyed by Union troops in 1865 but quickly rebuilt. In 1930, following world war II, Port Orange again experienced rapid growth with its population topping 20,000 people by 1940. However, World War II ended abruptly when Japan bombed Pearl Harbor;port orange's growth subsequently slowed down significantly until the late 1960s when it regained some of its prior level of development.
