Royal Palm Beach (formerly St. Lucie County) is a town in Florida, United States, located on the east coast of Miami-Dade County. The population was 71,811 at the 2010 census. Royal Palm Beach is home to Palm Beach International Airport and almost all of its businesses are based there. As one of the wealthiest communities in Miami-Dade County, it has many wealthy residents as well as many high-end shops and restaurants. The area that nowincludes Royal Palm Beach was originally inhabited by Native Americans who hunted deer and other game hereabouts for food and shelter during the winter months. In 1824 Captain John Smith discovered land here which he named "St. Lucie" after his patron saint, Lazarus of Jerusalem. He made a landing on what is now known as bay #1 about 8 miles (12 km) north of where today's Royal Palm Beach stands today on October 29th, 1824 aboard HMS Bounty under Captains James Cook and John Hawkins; they were exploring the Indian Coast for British traders looking for new sources of oil revenues from America's newly discovered Floridas (now Gulfport). In 1835 British explorer George Washington Key acquired title to some undeveloped lands including those lying between bay #1 and bay #2 extending into present day Stonington Sound; these lands were later renamed "Royal Palm Beach". It wasn't until 1840 when Englishman Ebeneser Smeaton bought part of this same stretch of land from Key with the goal of developing it into a resort called "Caldwell's Harbour", but construction never began because King Ferdinand IIs I forbade Spanish nationals living in Cuba to come overland to Florida without first obtaining permission from Havana authorities. Wayne Colville purchased Smeaton's share in Caldwell's Harbour in 1845 for $10,000USD making him owner/operator thereof until his death in 1865; subsequent owners included J P Morgan Sr., W L Garrison & Co., M H White & Sons Incorporated, A G Beaumont (1901-1973), J F Kappner (1922-1983), The Ritz Carlton Hotel Company Ltd., Anheuser Busch Brewing Company Incorporated (1976-) It wasn't until 1912 that American millionaire Harry Seagram bought majority ownership interest in Anheuser Busch Brewing Company Incorporated which had been founded by Adolphus Busch four years earlier; Seagram renamed it AnheuserBusch Brewery Limited after its purchase by AB InBev NV subsidiary Budweiser AG back in 1978-. Many famous brands have been brewed at AnheuserBusch Brewery Limited such as Blue Moon beer, Yuengling lager, Michelob Ultra light beer etc.; among others Blue Moon became available only outside North America starting with distribution outside Canada beginning with their launch at an event held at Scranton Brewing Company near Scranton PA on May 3rd 1993.. Today Anheuse Beverages SA is headquartered adjacent to Scranton Brewing Company.. On July 4th 1990bottle service began for Budweiser Light beer operations at company headquarters with brewing continuing operation within Scranton brewery through 1995 before being transferred across facility to larger site near Plantation FL becoming operational on October 1st 1996 Anheuser BUSCH Brewery Limited ceased production altogether effective April 30th 2006 having sold its assets worldwide including interests in two other breweries - New Belgium Brewery LLC and Ommegang Brewery USA - to MolsonCoors Companies Canada ABLS..Today all brewing operations are located at MolsonCoors Companies Canada ABLS' plant adjacent to Canadian Tire Centre...
The Royal Palm Beach estate was founded in 1912 by Prince George, Duke of Kent. The property included a manor house and some acreage near the present-day intersection of State Road 7 and Old World Drive. The original owners were the Hereditary Counts of Orleans. In 1922, the Estate passed to the von Hirschsprung family. From then until 1951, it was held by Princess Elizabeth II's mother, Alexandra Hyde-White. In 1951, Princess Elizabeth succeeded her mother as head of the House of Windsor and assigned ownership to her son Prince Philip. The Estate continued to be administered by Princes Philip through his wife Queen Elizabeth II until their accession as king and queen in 1952. In 1974, Empress Diana moved into part of the Estate with her husband Captain Charles Ryder (1908-1994). They had two children: Prince William (b. 1981) and Lady Louise Windsor (b. 1986). After their deaths in 2000 and 2002 respectively, parts of the Estate were sold off for development purposes including a folly known as "Belvedere" on which they resided while living at Sandringham Palace; this folly has now been demolished. The following year saw significant changes when Princess Beatrice became heir presumptive to the British throne upon her father's death in 2013 but did not assume full control over either House of Windsor until after she married US prince Harry in April 2016 Their move from London's Mayfair estate marked an end to direct rule over one half million people who made up both Houses of Parliament from central London
