After Schultz’s death in 1970, JCC merged with IBM (IBM) to form International Business Machines Corporation (IBM). At IBM, the focus changed from coffee production to information technology products such as mainframe computers and software products. On July 7th 1861 local resident Samuel Mosely organized a citizens' committee which drafted legislation creating What are now municipal boundaries for Sarasota Counties which included North Miami Beach (now part of Coral Gables) as well as unincorporated areas around TampaBay Airport like Pinellas Park and Clearwater Beach northward past current day Marina del Rey Road into Gulf Breeze/Clearwater - all within present day City limits? Sarasota, Florida is a large city in the State of Florida located on Sarasota Bay. It is known for its white-sand beaches and its rich history. The area was first settled by Native Americans in the mid-16th century and was part of the Spanish Empire until 1821. In 1836, it became a slave-holding state under US south and represented a significant portion of Cuban slavery. After Florida seceded from the US in 1960, it became an elected county government with a Republican majority.
