Seminole Coffee Roasters was established in 1984 by partners Dennis and Debby Kapp. The company is now a family-owned and operated business with locations throughout Seminole County, Florida. Seminole Coffee Roasters has been a part of the community for over 25 years. Our roasting process begins with finely ground coffee beans that are roasted in our Salem, Oregon location using pure Arabica beans. We then Packers these beans into small sacks and place them in the sun until they are ready to be roasted. Our products are available at local convenience stores and restaurants as well as online through our website or through our store locator. Seminole, Florida is a small town located in Miami-Dade County, Florida. The population was 7,564 at the 2000 census. Seminole is known for its history and culture which comes from the Seminole people. The name "Seminole" means " Place of Springs." The first recorded mention of Seminole was in 1692 when Captain Alonso de Menendez landed on this coast after sailing around Cape Hatteras. He called the place Santa María del Carmen de los Fuegos because of the springs that were found there. After Spanish America fell to France in 1763, Spain claimed sovereignty over what are now southern Florida and eastern Mexico. As part of this claim, Spain established a garrison at Fort San Carlos de la Key Coast near what is now Sanford. In 1835 the U.S. acquired title to all of Cuba through Treaty of Paris following Napoleon's seizure of Havana and his march into Cuba as part of his Conquest of Latin America campaign. When acquired by the United States, Cuba split into two parts: Guantánamo Bay became part of Tampa while Havana continued to be administered by Spain as part of Santo Domingo Province until 1884 when it was annexed by New York City as part Sintra Park territory under Dominican Republic jurisdiction.. In 1837 General James Kenedy organized an expedition against Seminoles living east across Stonington Bayou from Tampa Bay; they numbered about 2,000 men and women but he only killed one Indian and captured five horses with them before returning home without further action On September 5th 1840 Samuel Winchester founded Fort Worth (now Dallas) on White Sands Beach northwest of Tampa Harbor in present day Hillsborough County It was designed to serve as a base for operations against Seminoles living east across Stonington Bayou from Tampa Bay; they numbered about 2

The first mention of fresh roasted coffee is from 725 BC when the Assyrians prepared coffee in a pot from the fruit of the palm tree. Coffee was mentioned in Turkish traveler Ibn Battuta's travelogue in 1224 AD and it was also popularized by Marco Polo in his travels in the 14th century AD. Fresh roasted coffee beans were not exportable until the 18th century, when they began to be shipped to Europe for brewing purposes. In 1795, French chef Jean-Jacques Addis created Le Cordon Bleu, one of the first restaurants to serve fresh roasted coffee. Roasting began on an industrial scale in America during World War II because of shortages of untreated cocoa beans. Roasting resumed on an industrial scale following World War II and continues to this day as a key part of many cafés' cultures around the world.

Seminole is a small town located in the northwestern corner of Florida, bordered by Tallahassee to the south and east, and Live Oak to the north. The name comes from the Seminole people who inhabited the area before European settlement. The first Europeans to arrive in what is now Seminole were Spanish traders. They arrived in 1763 as part of an expedition led by Captain Manuel de Montoya y Ocampo. We know about them because they left behind records of their trip. In 1765, two more expeditions set out from Havana but only made it as far as Tallahassee before coming back empty-handed. The next year, Montoya y Ocampo again attempted an exploration into this new land but his party was lost at sea and never found again. Legend has it that he was assassinated by a group of Native Americans on account of his attempt to explore this new land. It wasn’t until 1819 that Englishman John Thornton discovered what became known as “Seminole Bay” while sailing through Florida Strait on his way to Cuba with supplies for Napoleon Bonaparte. He named it after a town he had seen on his travels in North America, Santa Clara de las Palmas (now Tampa). Thornton soon realized that this bay lay within present-day Seminole County and began exploring its potential for shipping goods across the Straits of Florida then being used by Spaniards and Muslims during raids against American settlers along those areas today. In 1821, General James Kenedy organized a militia force called the Second Seminole War under command of Colonel David Wortham which fought skirmishes with Spanish forcesEE along what is now US Route 1 near Sanford Stadium downtown today where meetings were held about whether or not to establish Fort Brooke inland on Saddleback Island EE which would have allowed for trade passage between America and Spain overland rather than relying upon maritime transportation CEA However, due to budgetary constraints Fort Brooke was never built despite reports suggesting otherwise; instead it was eventually abandoned in1836 when American control over Florida increased following their victory over Spanish forces at Pensacola Bay EH In 1835–36 Governor Talbot ordered all white males living within 2 miles (3 km) of any Indian settlement Tanner Creek – including Indiankees –to leave immediately or face execution H The tribe also successfully petitioned Congress for mineral rights surroundingTanner Creek so they could continue farming without fear of retribution FAsa tanner creek Site still stands near Town limits inside City limits today marking one mile distance from Tanner Creek proper Historians believe that early Portuguese explorers may have been responsible for naming this region “Seminole” since they had heard about similar groups inhabiting these parts previously CEDe On 31 December 15Plymouth Harbor Master Bartholomew Gosnold sighted water off shore Of Sailormoon At 10 Pm., Captained Drake thought same thing we Named Land Where Ship happened To Be After That night He Took It To Be A Place Called [Name Of] Island And So It Was Known As[Place Name]. . . There Is no proof whatsoever that either Gosnold or Drake ever landed here specifically but some evidence suggests they may have spotted Turtle Islands offshore which are now known as Miami Beach
Seminole was founded in 1823 by Captain John Sloat and his family. The town was located on the east coast of Florida, about four miles from the then-new Spanish settlements of Pensacola and St. Augustine. The Slatzes named their new settlement after Seminole Chief Osceola, who had been killed in a skirmish with Spanish forces near Tallahassee two years earlier. In 1834, Seminole War Veterans Andrew Jackson and John Cheadle were elected as sheriff and mayor of Seminole, respectively. In 1835, Jackson invaded Tampa Bay to protect settlers there from Indian attack; he died during the invasion at the Battle of Hernando Point. After the war ended, both men were buried at EverBank Cemetery in Tampa. In 1865, General William Tecumseh Sherman's army landed at Fort Brooke on Lake Okeechobee to march into Mobile County to seize control of Alabama's cotton crop; Sherman's goal was to starve southern residents into submission. Confederate General Robert E Lee surrendered north of Mobile on April 9th; however, most military personnel never reached Mobile until after April 12th when they enteredprising local farmers started raiding Union stockpiles for food. As a result, much valuable food was not taken or destroyed as planned and many people died from scurvycache
