In 1916, another article was written about maga coffee by Lenny Bruce. Bruce noted that although these Beans had been around for years before he tasted them, they still held their own against other types of Coffee due to their unique flavor profile. He also went on to say that these beans were becoming increasingly popular among North American Coffee drinkers because they provided a strong cup of java without any harsh aftertastes or afterimages. Since its introduction into America, maga coffee has become well known throughout many different parts of the world. In recent years, it has even made its way into European countries such as England and Scotland where it is now being grown predominantly. The first coffee shop in Sweetwater was the Coffee House in 1906. The Coffee House was a small, four-roomed building on Main Street in Sweetwater that served coffee and newspapers. In 1907, the town started growing and development began to occur around the Coffee House. A new store was built on Main Street in 1912, and a hotel was built on East Second Street in 1916. The downtown area became known as "The Square." In 1921, the First National Bank of Sweetwater merged with the Farmers National Bank of Florida. The name of the new bank changed to Mellon National Bank of Florida. In 1928, Mellon bought out Farmers National Bank for $1 million. In 1932, Mellon moved its headquarters from Sweetwater to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. In 1951, Mellon merged with Pittsburgh-based Chase Manhattan Banks and became Chase National Banks Ltd. In 1957, First American Savings & Loan Company opened up shop in Sweetwater and continued to serve coffee until it closed its doors in 1990. At that time (before it merged into JB Henschel) First American Savings & Loan had been serving coffee since 1899!
Sweetwater, Florida is a census-designated place in Polk County, Florida, United States. The population was 9,567 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Jacksonville–Clearwater Metropolitan Statistical Area. The area that now Sweetwater was originally called "Tampa Bay" by the Native American Seminole and Miccosukee peoples. Captain James Cook named it Tampa Bay in 1794 after his voyage to America and discovered this area while exploring Southeast Asia. Spanish traders and missionaries also explored this region in the early 18th century. In 1821, US General Andrew Jackson moved Ulysses S Grant's army from Mobile to Fort Gaines on the bay to avoid any Indian attacks. In 1865, two men named Waddell developed a sugar plantation near what is now Sweetwater Creek. They were later joined by other investors and began producing cane sugar for export from their farmstead on Panther Lake until 1881 when they sold their land to J C Bowen & Co for $1 million (the present day downtown Sweetwater is located on part of that property). The company built a factory there which continues operation today as Bowen’s Factory Museum (formerly known as Blackburn’s Lumber Co.). With prohibition looming in America during the 1920s and 1930s, many small farmers abandoned sugar production in favor of Prohibition-era agricultural diversions such as corn farming or cattle ranching; however, some businesses continued operations into the post-Prohibition period including Sloppy Joe’s BBQ restaurant which still stands today across from Interstate 10 south of downtown Sweetwater. During World War II much local manufacturing activity took place throughout nearby Clearwater including aircraft construction at Naval Air Station Jacksonville (now Joint Base Pearl Harbor Hickman) and shipbuilding at Clear Water Shipyards; however most production ceased during 1945 due to lack of materiel availability following Japan's surrender. However, a few industries did continue up through the late 1970s with automotive parts production being one example; however these operations have all passed away since then with no sign of revival despite numerous efforts by community members over recent decades alone! Many locals refer to themselves simply as " inhabitants" or "SweetWaterites". According to 1997 Census reports only 2% of residents had income below poverty line while more than half – 54%-of all residents reported owning their own home either rent or owning outright within 5 years before censuses were taken! In terms of employment status nearly two thirds – 66%-of residents worked outside White householdseither full time or Marginal Wage jobs not paying enough money for basic needs like food or shelter without overtime pay! One third – 30%-of all employed individuals self-reported having been born outside USA making it one very large international Hispanic/Latino populace living amongst us right here in our own little town! Regardless though we continue trying hard every single day just like always!!!

Sweetwater, Florida is a small town in St. Johns County, Florida, United States. The population was 1,542 at the 2010 census and it is part of the Jacksonville metropolitan area. The name "Sweetwater" comes from the Sweet River which flows through the town. The first settler in Sweetwater was Elias Howe who arrived in 1824. In 1840, John Ketchum built a cabin on the banks of the Sweet River and named it " sweet water ". The first store in Sweetwater opened in 1851 and by 1862 there were six stores in Sweetwater with a total population of 283 people. In 1861, Jotham Post opened a general store across from the Methodist Church. By 1865 there were ten stores along Main Street with a population of 2,638 people. In 1887 two brothers founded what would become known as Post & Hickey Paper merchants which operated until 1915 when they closed their doors for good because of lack of patronage from customers due to prohibitionism during that time period In 1916 George Witherspoon started an ice cream business on Main Street called Dixie Creamerywhich continued until 1959 when it closed for good after running out of funding In 1930 – 1931 Judge James Fenton built a three-story white frame building on Main Street which served as court house and jail In 1945 Joe Capps opened his hardware store on State Road A1A which became known as "Capps's Hardware". It would remain open until 1974 when it closed due to heavy competition from larger grocery stores There are also several smaller businesses that have been located within or aroundSweetwater over the years including: A&W Root Beer; Big Boy Pizza; Dairy Queen; ExxonMobil Corporation - pump station/gas station (closed 2009); military base - Fort Walton Beach (closed 2001). The community has experienced some growth and decline over its history but all indications point to continued development potential given its current location within an established suburban area
