After moving into his new office on December 15th of that year (four days after being inaugurated as president), Jackson began working tirelessly on creating what would become Tallahasaetown – an area where citizens could enjoy easy access to education and commerce without fear of Indian raids or violence. Tallahasaetown quickly emerged as a thriving community due to its excellent infrastructure: It had a healthy population density thanks to its strategic location along river banks; it boasted quality public transportation options; and it enjoyed superb connections to other parts of Florida through channels such as railroad tracks and tidal rivers.
