Tamarac, Florida is a small town in Broward County, Florida. It was founded by Spanish settlers in 1837 and became an American protectorate in 1898. The town of Tamarac was first settled by Germans in the early 1800s. In 1907, the Tamarac Coffee Club was formed and began to serve coffee from local farms. By 1945, the club had developed into a commercial business with sixteen employees. The coffee industry grew rapidly during World War II due to wartime demand for military supplies and coffee beans. The war led to increased production and prices throughout the 1950s and 1960s. After the war, Tamarac lost its status as a country town and slowly declined over the next few decades. However, it has since regained some of its former prosperity through tourism and retail businesses such as gift stores, restaurant chains, and manufacturing companies. The first espresso machine designed specifically for coffee brewing was created in Italy in 1903 by Luigi Bezzuoli. Coffee beans were roasted by hand until about 1915 before machines became available that could roast them automatically. By 1925, machines were being manufactured that could produce two cups of coffee at a time which allowed for larger quantities of coffee to be brewed at one time than ever before. In 1945, Don Freeman began selling his first automated espresso machine called the Don Freeman Automatic Espresso Maker (DFAM). This machine allowed for large batches of espresso to be brewed quickly without having to wait for hours for each cup to finish brewing. Many different types of machines were produced during this time including manual machines, automatic machines with PID controllers (programmable levers), single Serve Machines (SSM), French presses (Pumpkin & éclairs), grinder systems etc..

The climate here is temperate subtropical and mild year-round with some significant seasonal differences. The first settled communities in what is now Tamarac were located along the Kissimmee River due to its warm water and available land. In 1836 Captain James Cook discovered and named this location after his homeland, Tahiti (the place where he was born). The name "Tamarac" was given by Spanish explorers who called this area Santa Lucia de tamaracan (Saint Lucia of the Tamarin). The first settlers arrived in 1837 and they built homes on what is now Old Fort Lauderdale Beach Boulevard. By 1861 there were over 100 families living in Tamarac. In 1911 developers Jepson & Sons purchased 1/2 mile of beachfront property for $1 per acre from local resident Capt John Fenton for use as an airport perimeter road leading to their new airport site on Broward Boulevard near I-95/I-4 exit 191A which became known as Airport Drive today. From that same year until 1934 much of what are now downtownTamarac consisted of open land used for agriculture orchards or citrus fruit plantations operated by commercial farmers such as Eastern orange grower Atherton Hargrave and Western grapefruit grower Wanda Jones; All these operations closed down during World War II when airplane travel made it impractical to produce anything other than food items necessary for human sustenance while stationed overseas or during military campaigns in Europe or Asia; Consequently many structures still standing within downtown TAMARAC date back to those years including: First Baptist Church Building dating back to 1911; Pompano Beach Hotel & Casino building dating back to 1928; City Hall also dating back to 1907 which remains one of oldest continuously operating government buildings in South Florida; And finally University Place Shopping Center which opened up in 1961 adjacent to Broward College’s Main Campus - making TAMARAC - once again - home to one of South Floridas most vibrant shopping districts – surpassing even Miracle Mile! Today Downtown TAMARAC still features many businesses from those earlier years such as: Lululemon Athletica store; Boca Raton dry cleaners; Starbucks Coffee Store ; Sam's Club warehouse ; American Apparel store On February 14th 2020 President Donald Trump visited Downtown TAMARAC for a rally event commemoratingOrlando County Sheriff Scott Israel's 53rd birthday . Afterwords he signed a proclamation marking National Day Of Remembrance To Victims Of Crime

Coffee spread throughout North America before becoming prominent in Europe during the late 18th century. Coffee's popularity declined after World War II because of concerns about potential health hazards associated with caffeine consumption such as sleep deprivation and addiction. However, resurgence in interest occurred following large-scale projects like Starbucks and Dunkin' Donuts across multiple countries throughout the 21st century. Today, artisanal brewers continue to produce quality coffee products that are enjoyed all over the world
